Even with my bias (I’ve hated Jason Todd long before Slutfire) I found the story to be very run of the mill average. It’s the same with Lobdell’s Teen Titans. Great artwork, but the writing was average. Not horrible but no real reason for me to come back for another issue.
The artwork was the reason for me picking up both issues and that’s about it.
Back in the '90s I had a love / hate thing with Lobdell’s X-Men. Now and then it was alright but can’t say I’m a fan.
So I just got bought:

In 60 years, he’ll be able to pay for his great-grandkids’ bus fare to the bank, where they will attempt to renegotiate their great-grandfathers’ college loans, which have continued to compound even as they’ve been passed down from generation to generation.
In this post: proletarian rage, and information on the approximate worthlessness of post-golden age comics.
Actually I have a great paying job so I doubt it, but I see where you was going there. That being said I’m more collecting than attemping to profit. New comic are never going to gain crazy value as older one simply because people collect them, seal them, graded them. Not much chance of any new comics gaining rarity such as #1 Captain America punching out Hitler etc. Comics back in the day were read and thrown out. Anyone trying to get rich off new comics are in the wrong hobby.
True that. It’s a lot more offensive to insult one’s potential future financial status than one’s predilection for slabbing worthless comics in plastic.
First issue of Smallville Season 11 was really good, just like the TV show. It’s funny how I can relate to this version of Superman more than current DC Reboot Superman.
Last I saw Supes in Action Comics he got the blue suit with the S-insignia on it.
I think he might appear with the shirt and jeans in the upcoming Superman Family comic though, at least for an issue or 2.
I strongly dislike the battle armor. People were so busy shitting on the t-shirt and jeans, but at least there was a cogent rationale for it and it wasn’t intended to last.
And zippers like a duffel bag, and a turtleneck. Fuck’s sake, Superman would never wear a turtleneck. Turtlenecks are for Steve Jobs and screenwriters who spend all their money at Starbucks.
I’d bet money this redesign is gone by this time next year.
