What, 3 came out already? Only issue I have so far is 2…stupid DC.

Just got done re-reading Superman: Red Son. One of my favorite Elseworlds by far. Basic plot is that instead of having his spaceship land in the U.S.A, Superman lands in Russia. More specifically, at Stalins door step.
Enjoyed Flashpoint this week. Wait until you see Superman in this reality! 
Yeah, Red Son is definitely one of the better comics DC’s published in the past decade or so. It’s one of Millar’s finest works, too.

[spoiler=HOLY FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU]We find that FP Oracle is really Selina Kyle, and has found leads about the Joker’s whereabouts, telling it to Gordon. Gordon decides to go on this solo and doesn’t tell Thomas about Joker.
When Batman learns about Gordon and Joker, he rushes to their location, but is too late: Joker has killed Gordon and caused the death of Dent’s daughter.
Well also learn the true identity of Joker: Martha Wayne![/details]
Flashpoint #3 was a lot better than Fear Itslef #4 IMO, the end was surprising, and I look forward to how this’ll end.
I personally didn’t like how the last part of Winnick’s story ended in Batman and Robin 25.
Oh fuck I forgot Flashpoint batman 2 of all things. Shop was filled with people, I mean FILLED. Was hard to get around. Depressed now…
Anywho DC wise I got:
Flashpoint #3.
Batman: Arkham City #2-3.
Batman Beyond #7.
I could never get into DC comics for one reason or another, so I’m looking forward to this whole “reboot” thing they’re doing. I check out the list and there’s a few that I want to give a shot.
So question: Is Flashpoint supposed to end the current DC “universe”?
It’s really confusing but they are going to leave the things that work or tweak them, restart the things that don’t work and tweak the things they feel like tweaking.
In other words pretend it’s a ‘Crisis.’
It’s all supposed to be new reader friendly so you shouldn’t worry too much if you are just jumping into DC.
Ah I see.
It also looks like they plan on doing same-day digital releases on their iPad app. I know I’m probably in the minority, but I much rather read on iPad than have the comic in-hand. This definitely makes jumping in much more appealing.
