Quentin you’re Abel did really well against my Ryu. You’re just gonna have to find ways around the bullshit mechanics of the game. Anyone can be beaten with anyone in my opinion.

Guile is actually pretty good for newer players to pick up. He’s fairly straightforward.
If I remember correctly, it took several matches for anyone to actually beat me AND I was playing with Adam’s junk team for 7 wins. If you guys want to play on not those sticks, I’ll be down, but my total inability to do something on those that I have been doing easily for 10 years is a little sickening. Like 7 botched supers that would have hit /match… who knows, I might still be sitting on that machine.

You are talking about the Cvs2 sticks correct? If so, we are in process of getting some Sanwas to replace all of the fight sticks we have. Unless I’ve been steered wrong, that should make all the fighters happy, correct?
Also, for Saturday we are not going to be using the big screen for the tournament. We will have the 2 big TVs in the back room and some smaller monitors out front. Hopefully that will suit everyone.
And on a totally unrelated note, we will have SUNSET RIDERS in the Metamorphic Force cab on Saturday.

I had not noticed any lag on the giganto screen, and I think it would be cool to do the grand finals on it.

A question for all who give a damn. When our first couple Sanwa sticks come in, which of our games would you like to see them on first? We will eventually get them all done but where to start? We were thinking the giant screen since we will be switching out games in that one.
If you get a 3s cab, that. The SF4 set up for sure, Marvel is ok, I’d probably go with CVS2 after that.

Seriously, the giganto screen. Its like the centerpiece of the room and can be any game.
I think that would be cool. Just depends on if people are okay with pausing things for a bit to switch the PS3.
I agree with Actionhank. 3S > big screen setup > CVS2 and Marvel
Also, @Arcade Legends: do you guys need anyone to bring an extra PS3? If finals were to be held on the big screen then one PS3 could already be hooked while the other two are being used for the smaller TVs.
