That arcade is awesome, but I didn’t really talk to any of the guys. Just hope they fix the sf4 setup and at least get something I can play. Adam did they say anything about what other games they wanted to get?
Somebody tell me how to play Jedah in Darkstalkers 3.
Jedah is like Eddie, kind of. They said a 3s machine was the 1st thing on their to do list. I think when KOF and Blazblue comes out, they want to get on that too.

cr.lp->cr.mp->cr.fierce is probably your bnb with jedah. or rather… c.lk c.mp s.mk c.hk
-EX Scythe Spin is good to keep opponents on the ground.
Chicken guarding with jedah is kind of a 50/50 because he floats. So use it sparingly.
Also Jedah has a Dash->FP infinite on all characters… but its much easier to do on victor and bishamon. Consdiering their crouch is " able" to be infinited on.
Also back dash IAD QCF+P is really good for spacing
Short gliding is all apart of his game. Short glide into links… links and more links. Jedah cant really chain. So he very link specific.
j.MK, j.LP, and j.LK. Or land c.LK. and J.Hk are probably what you gonna wanna use alot.
IAD LP and Fierce are really good also… If I ever get to go to the arcade… Ill show you some stuff cause I wanna go real bad.

When I say he’s like Eddie, I mean he can put things on the screen and dash in behind them. He also has a command grab that looks similar to his. His air dash resembles Morrigans but its faster. Of course I have no clue how to play Darkstalkers, nor do I give a shit.
For all of those who have already come to AL, exactly what changes, as far as sticks go, would you like to see? We are ordering some Sanwa sticks for the SFIV on the big screen (which I seriously doubt will be here by the tourney unfortunately). We straightened up the sticks that are in their now. We replaced the god-awful sticks in the SSFII with some American sticks (way better than what was in there). Would the Sanwa sticks pretty much be wanted for any Capcom game? What about games like BlazBlue and KOFXII?
We have our sights on a 3rd Strike right now. You guys will be the first to know if (when) we get it.
We will have KOF98 in the Neo Geo cab sometime this week.
As soon as a SSFII Turbo PCB comes our way we will get that in a cabinet.

No Testament doesn’t have a command throw, and Jedah’s does kind of look like Eddie’s. He knows who he’s talking about, he just doesn’t know that much about how Eddie is supposed to play. Yes he has a little friend that can come out and move independently of him and be an obstacle, but that is not how he is most effective. He’s more for keeping pressure stings up and doing unblockables.
And then he tells me he’s doesn’t know anything about Darkstalkers anyway lol. Thanks a lot Adam:wink: Also, if you were calling Guilty Gear a masher, me and Mac would be happy to straighten you out whenever you want.
ArcadeLegends: Guilty Gear XX Accent Core and Hokuto no Ken cabinets would be sweet. Also, Sunset Riders is a must have and Fricker’s in Middletown has it apparently. Also, if you’re using the same case to put the sanwa parts in as we were playing SF4 on the other day, is it possible to adjust the button positioning so it’s arched instead of just two straight rows?

I would have to get a whole new panel to change the button position so it won’t be before the tourney on Sat. If I do it on that panel, it will leave some huge holes. It’s a metal panel from a Tekken 4 showcase cab and that’s how it was positioned originally (don’t ask me why).
A question for anyone planning on coming to the tourney Saturday. Do you think people would rather play on PS3 arcade sticks rather than the setup we currently have on the big screen? I don’t want anyone to feel they were cheated because of the sticks. When you guys come tonight, let me know. Also, I know it’s a longshot, but if anyone happens to have or can get any extra Sanwa sticks they’d want to sell us, we could get those in before Saturday.
I’ve used a PS3 arcade stick, full Sanwa w/ square gate, since the game came to console. I would definitely prefer that kind of setup. Of course I’m bringing my own stick, lol.
I would say most people will bring their own controller, but players who can’t afford one would appreciate some sort of PS3 stick option.
