i didnt know you were still playing, i check in on dons thread once in a blue moon and i never see you over there…

anyways, naw man, your my hero, your IM is one of the primary reasons why ive stuck to the character. i saw how nice you were playing with him in the first week and i was like dat nigga ironmans got what it takes… unfortunately i still havent solved the code for who ironman is in this game… but i believe in the character same as i belived in ibuki for all those months when i was getting my ass handed to me, now my ibuki is legit and i feel after a few months ironman will be also, i think hes got alot of potential in this game as far as spacing is concerned.

tell josh i said whats up when you see him. oh yeah, my little guy will be here in 2 months! if you and the peas ever come out to perth let a brotha know so we can get some games.

Yeah man playin mag wesker ironman. phew finally got the gravity loop and rom down practicing the staircase combo next. though ya im still a lil iffy on that auto pilot. im gonna keep on practicing your method till i get it down. Though ya hopefully i get to australia soon and will have to get some games in.

Is there any sort of loop with Iron Man I can learn? Also does anyone have combo inputs for this video?

writing out every input in the video would take too long. If you point out a particular combo we may be able to help. =)

So what are most people using as their standard IM BnB these days? I’ve got the feel of the krispy ground fly combo, but i have a hell of a time hitting the S after the initial double jump in the modified version. Are the autopilot combos more consistent? Or is just kind of a preference thing. Any advice is much welcomed.

Krispy is the one I use 90% of the time, if I couldn’t confirm it, then I do the fly/unfly or just reset with Jam Session.

im more consistent with autopilot but the ground fly combo got more swag i need to learn it.if your learning a combo i would try and learn krisp ground combo first just cause it looks bomb.

Ground fly isn’t as hard as most people make it out to be, you just gotta be able to hitconfirm it pretty quickly. With Dante assist you build almost a full 3 bars, it’s pretty nuts.

for the first one I can tell you that its
c.:l: c.:m: :s: sjc.:h:, fly, j.:m: j.d.:h:, unfly, :h: dj.:H:, d.:h:, land, :h:, repulsor blast.

My BNBs with IM are taking like 760k, is this ok or should I improve it? If so, any suggestions?

That sounds about right if you’re ending in Proton Cannon. You should get approximately 1 million if you’re ending with Iron Avenger.

For the combos off air grabs, after the smart bomb, do most people press 2 buttons to airdash after or do you guys press :f::f: to airdash?

I seem to be having problems with the airdashing jm>jh part.

I do two buttons to dash always I’ve not even tried that way tbh

Always use the buttons in MvC, its faster and doesn’t add inputs to the que which in turn can screw other things up.

Ok cool, sounds like I just have to hammer out the combo then.

i always use a gg style dash for forward air dashes. feels more natural, though i do play pad so i guess i can’t speak for others.

keep in mind for the air throw combos that there are height restrictions on the air dash and you have to do that shit immediately, both the smart bombs and the air dash after that. also, air dash j.B, j.d.C is more consistent on the whole cast than air dash j.B, j.C. some of the lighter/floaty characters are too high for a cr.B follow up.

OK so I’m still having a lot of trouble with the Auto-Pilot combo.

The first part I have down. c.L, c.M, S, jH xx Fly xxx d.M, d.H xxx Unfly

However, after the unfly I always mess it up and either get:

A forward air dash that does not catch the opponent.

An air Unibeam.

The dummy opponent guards again (autoblock is on) before I am able to continue the combo.

Any advice? After the d.M, d.H in flight mode, am I cancelling immediately after that and air dashing down forward, or airdashing in flight mode? The post a page ago about delaying the unfly helped a lot but I still can’t get the airdash part down. Any advice?
