When I played it on Mame, Talbain was the easiest for me to pick up, and I had no idea what tiers were. Go figure.
The point is, to say it was an upgrade, and considering it was released at the same time as Skyrim, SR3, and AC:R, UMVC3 did pretty good in sales.
Exactly! 600k for an upgrade eveyone on Earth claimed they hated is damn good. The 1.4 mil that left are the CoD kids who fell off the hype train.
I’m very hopeful that DS4 is their next major project. Would love to play it on PC/Mac too.

I always see the phrase hand holding and I’m failing to understand exactly wtf you guys are talking about. I’ve played every major game, I know what execution is like in every major game, and the hand holding thing doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe in your super salty filled world were everyone is a troll it does but to normal people it seems non sensical.

Yeah, but that’s not the point, calling the community hypocrite because they hate the game and only 600k players (Not active players) got the game instead of the original 2 million in 7 months makes zero sense, is a great thing if you enjoy the community environment and the game but the scene could be greater don’t you think?
Anyways, i will get the PSN version for introductory reasons and despite the problems i think it would be nice for some events in my local community, we are 33 players now and it will be cool to try some old games for people who couldn’t experience the original franchise.
The point of the “CoD kids” comment was to illustrate to you that a lot of the 600k who bought UMVC3 weren’t casuals.
And i never said the entire FGC was filled with hypocricy, only that the community was not immune to it and that it does, infact, exist here.

it really doesn’t work that way. for you since you’re a marvel player I suggest Q-bee, but your favorite is Cable which I would also recommend Demitri(he isn’t all zoning he has combos too).
