Dark Souls 3: Prepare to Die Once More

Hint, that one can be cheesed.

Oh, I made it through and all. It’s just a mean trap to go through the first time

Actually, I’m sad because I went back to fight it for real and now it’s not there. Boooo.

Did you ring the bell?

People actually fought the 2nd dragon?
I didn’t know it can be killed without wasting a million arrows or Ashens.

It’s worth it, gives some good upgrade materials.

This game is great. Just beat the Dragonslayer Armour boss. How far am I form the end?

You made it to the endgame. You have one mainline area left to explore.

Did you beat Oceiros, the Consumed King? There are other areas that can be unlocked after him.

But yes, other than that, you’re almost near the end. Last 10% of the game in terms of mandatory content.

Havent fought Oceiros yet. Thanks for letting me know how far I am in the game. Everytime I play a DS game I lose track of time. Can only play this game after work or when I have a day off.

TFW poor Siegward has been spending the last 60-70 hours down a well without his armor on, while I’ve soloed literally all the bosses in the game, maxed out a majority of the covenants, ended the flame and invaded a buncha people just for fun.

TFW I still find him in all his locations except the very last one.

A toast to you, Siegward. May the flames guide your eternally jolly, sleepy, dumbfounded ass.

Yep, s’why it disappeared. I got what I needed outside of it, though. Thaaaat said, now that I’ve beaten the boss… Hmm. I’ma have to return and have a look. It’s got too much loot to miss out on.

why do you keep saying “soloing bosses” ? I’m pretty sure everyone here has beaten all the bosses without summoning players/npcs.

Because it’s its own challenge. If you think I’m specifically bragging about it, you’re projecting, man

It’s just something that takes more time to figure out than popping fingers, summoning three phantoms and going HAM on’em. Much like most people could probably do SL1 runs, but dear lord I do not have the patience to play against all the bosses for that long.

I will say that soloing the game was a bigger feat in DS2 than in any of the other Soulsborne games, simply because a few of the DS2 bosses seemed designed for summons. Outside of the Sentinels, the multiple-character bosses don’t coordinate. You’ll be dodging forever, get in one good hit, then get back to circling and dodging for ages, because they have individual AIs.

DS2 was just poorly designed, all around.

Sentinels and Gargoyle redux had to have been designed by thirsty homosexuals envisioning a player-base screaming at the screen for them to go eat a bag of dicks.

Sentinels are actually pretty good, I thought. They coordinate their attacks so you always have to watch them all, but they don’t constantly overwhelm you with attacks.

Gargoyles redux are… doable, but not as fun.

Twin Dragonriders are just annoying, and the duo with the Watcher and the other guy at the end just constantly go at you. Graverobbers and Lud & Zallen in the DLCs are complete bullshit as singleplayer bosses. Then again, those last ones are specifically in multiplayer areas, so.

Dark Souls 2 doesn’t feel like Dark Souls to me. Major black sheep, I went back to the first within a week.

DS2 is the least good of the games, but that doesn’t mean it’s not still a great game. Especially the DLC areas are masterful.

the DLC was easily the highlight of DS2.

DS2, especially the scholar re-release is the most underrated game in the series.

Well I slayed Aldritch mere seconds before he got me. Win is a win.

Rushed through the Dungeons to a bonfire in the Profane Capital. Also missed stuff I bet in Irithtyll so probably will backtrack.

Now to figure out where Siegward is after the well incident…
