And yet everyone is losing their minds over the Dark Sword and Estoc.
Dat Morne’s Hammer cheese.
Anor londo in my blind run of DS1 legit almost made me quit… it also ended my purely blind run cause i finally broke down after being stuck on the 1 bridge for 3 days and looked up info online. Then i learned about equip load and the roll types… from there things got so much easier
Blind run of DS3 completed. 82 hours played, level 92. Probably could’ve skipped a bit of grinding at the last boss if my stats weren’t absolutely terrible for that specific boss.
Played a whole buncha PVP and co-op, soloed all the bosses, missed one area - and boy, that one’s a Guide Dang It moment to beat’em all. Right now about to get through that area, also blind.
Well, I consulted a guide ONCE, because I missed one covenant and wanted to make sure I could get to it before the end. Turns out I missed all my chances to get said covenant, but going to that area gave me something that helped me a teensy bit. Saved me a couple of levels of grinding, s’all… And considering how easily I bashed the final boss when I DID beat’im, I may not have needed it anyway.
Was worried I’d be overleveled for this one area I’d missed. Oh dear god I’m SO VERY not overleveled.
I didnt get a chance to get around to it in dark souls 1, but i think i might finally do a pyromancy build for dark souls 3. Using majority pyromancy throughout the game in general. Maybe i’ll allow flame sword. Just all around about the flames build. lol
Almost finished my like 9th playthrough. Even still now im realizing how ineffecient ive done a lot of things. I actually completely skipped a whole part of the profaned capital. I was wondering how to get the female pyromancer. LOL. My early focus is always bouncing around a bit until i get settled in the game. Even after putting in work since release.
For most of the game though, ive begun to memorize placements of items, and i can pretty much run through with ease on almost all the stages. If not all. Honestly, i feel like im not interested in many of the weapons, but i do wanna do my halberd run i mentioned earlier. You just get it so late in the game. Well you can get it early enough. Its just a bit hardcore to get it, and even then your stat leveling might not be right.
Like when i watch bloodborne, the weapons look so fucking cool, and you can shoot motherfuckers. SO JELLY
How can you play coop not as a colored phantom? FashionSouls is my favorite part.
Get the “Untrue Dark Ring” from Yuria, in the Hollow questline. You don’t have to actually complete that questline, just have to get her to appear, then buy it from her
This was a bit embarrassing.
What does Bloodlust’s skill do exactly? Make it easier to cause bleeding?
[list]
[] Bloodlust applies a short 15 seconds buff, which appears to be a 30% AR bonus.
[] Will also damage enemies in front of the user when pulling the blade out.
[] Will cause Blood Loss for 200 bleed damage unless the Bloodbite Ring is worn.
[] You can NOT use the buff to gain an AR bonus on other weapons

I’ve seen people say it’s the worst katana but I don’t know, sounds like it could be pretty powerful. Definitely a cool looking sword too.
I bought this game and returned it after finally beating Iudex.
There’s no reason the game should be buffering roll inputs done before a hit, and then performing them AFTER I get up.
that’s like waking up with a dp and act suprised when you get punished for doing so.
Stop picnic roll mashing.
Scrub.
The game’s controls ain’t perfect, but delayed actions have affected me so very little in this game. Especially compared to DS2. You know what’s worse than a roll coming out delayed on a rare occasion? Delayed Estus drinking.
Just yesterday I was invaded and I KNOW I had the stamina and I KNOW the weapon the other guy was using doesn’t stunlock for more than two hits, but somehow my roll away from his R1 mashing after the second hit still failed to register. Maybe I was timing it wrong, maybe the game hiccuped, maybe it was the netcode. Whatevs! It’s rare enough that I don’t care.
Looks like you wasted a good experience.
Look, DS3, I love you. I won’t stop loving you. But you know those hitboxes on the Ancient Wyverns and stone Bulbasaurs are bullshit. So putting them both together in one area? Not cool. Not. Cool.
I didn’t have any issues with the Ancient Wyvern you actually fight. Just stay near his head and bait out attacks. EZ (noticed on my second playthrough that it has very similar attacks to the dragon in Nameless King; clever, From!). Don’t hate on the rock Bulbasaurs. They’re probably my favorite enemies in the game because of how cute they are. Kicking them off cliffs is the best.
Playing through rn I had way less trouble on the 2nd boss than the 1st.
I think I overlevled on the Lothric section lol I’m like Level 25.
