Dark Souls 3: Prepare to Die Once More

Yup easy souls and if you are trying to max sunbros knock that shit out in one session.

Wait how do you farm bosses?

How medals do I need to max out sunbros?

30 I believe. I’m not farming them now because I’m in the wolf covenant and don’t use miracles… Next build though…

Jolly cooperation.

Just drop your soul sign in front of the boss fog gate and wait, with the game so packed with players I’ve never waited more than 10 seconds to be summoned.

I would be interested to see how well DS3 did its first week. I don’t remember any other souls game this populated at release ( and I limit my region for co op). Or it could be for the first time since demon souls the servers didn’t suck at launch.

Oh of course. Derp.

That boss is pretty easy, by the way. It’s weak to bleeding.

Not like this…

I remember those things from DS1. :frowning:

so does anyone know where i can take this Dark Pyromancy tome?

my current master is too much of a pussy to teach it to me which is BS considering my miracles teacher still taught me dark miracles even though she wasn’t to happy to see the book i brought her.

Spoiler

Take it to Karla. She is in the dungeons in a room with a ton of those Jailer ladies and a few giant rats. You will need the Jailers Key ring first

For anybody not interested in spoiling it for yourselves the final boss music is an absolute masterpiece in boss music and I recommend listening to it.

cool cool… that’s good considering i’m a thief and bleeding is really my only source of damage still. now i just gotta find whoever this boss is. or were you talking about the crystal sage cause i already beat her ass.

i know right? i cried a little. especially cause some JERK put a message in front of it saying “friend?”

oh, btw did i miss the message item? cause i feel like i’m farther than i should be without having something to leave messages with.

Can’t trust treasure chests. Each one I found has tried to kill me.

Look at the way the string is. If it curls it’s safe. But yeah you can always just hit it if you’re not sure.

Messages are in the menu now. Press start and you’ll see the icon beside the Options menu.

Or you can look at it and see if it, you know, moves. Telling mimics apart from real chests is quite easy

I think I’m nearing the end of the game, and these are my personal pet peeves with it(which don’t detract from the game being great, but couldv’e made it better):

Bosses are, by and large, easy.

Too many bonfires; I don’t think I’ve had to worry about losing a large quantity of souls even once so far.

The graphics need work. I really don’t care much about graphics in general as long as things look ok, but there’s some glaring low poly and bad UV-ing in several places.

R1’ing the hell out of enemies is more effective and less risky than parrying IMO. I’ve had little trouble taking down most enemies in the game, and they are usually open and slow enough that you can just circle around them a bunch to hit behind shields. I found the [details=Spoiler]catacomb ninjas[/details] to be one of the toughest enemies in the game.

i concur. ive lost like 50,000 souls just trying to get through that area. the fact they’re quick enough to dodge out of back stabs is terrifying because that recovery period can easily kill you.

I’ve been having a blast with this Luck/Dex/Int build. Running around in PVP with hidden body + slumbering dragon ring is amazing. Also been rocking the moonlight shotel; my favorite weapon in the game atm

What does luck do…? I ignored the status entirely
