I have no way of knowing what level someone is when I invade. Also, because of the damage scaling thing I thought maybe you could invade anyone at any level
Wont get to play till Wednesday afternoon but I think I’ll go dex build this time around.
Also are you sure you scale in combat when invading? I haven’t seen that mentioned virtually anywhere @drunkards_walk (admittedly I’ve been avoiding as much info on this game as I could).
The only multiplayer things I could fine is having to use the lord of cinder and your weapons upgrade scales up x2 (not to your opponents level but to your own)
No I’m not sure, but something seemed a bit fishy when I was doing invasions earlier. I had top notch gear and was at around level 110, the guy I was facing, judging from his gear, was not a very high level. Yet when I hit him I did virtually no damage at all. It’s purely speculation, but it seemed a bit odd
But you just said your weapon did no damage either…
I dunno just seemed like a strange guess, starting weapons tend to be what get upgraded first for most people since its what you start with. They also tend to be some of the better weapons in these games as well.
Current speculation is that when dealing damage to phantoms you have a weapon level that moves up whenever you upgrade a weapon. Even if it’s not equipped. Maybe the same with defense?
Idk I haven’t played yet but until the majority of gamers get ahold of it and really get under the hood we really won’t know.
Fixed controllers, x360ce goes in steamapps>common>DarkSouls3>Game, was one root away.
Doesn’t stop the game from crashing repeatedly in the main hub area. Of all places to crash, right in the main fucking hub area lol. And when I say repeatedly, after crash #6 in the exact same area I’m just giving up for the night, I work in the morning anyway.
Dat 60fps tho. Performance seems totally fine otherwise.
