Sorry if mentioned already, but those who found DS2 underwhelming, or flat out disappointing like myself, SotFS makes the entire experience much better. There are plenty of vids to look up detailing all the changes, and although I still think it’s the weakest entry in the series it’s still an awesome game and worth picking up even you played DS2 vanilla, and a must buy if you missed all the DLC.
Anyway, will be going in on 3 for sure, can’t wait.
I shit on DS2 but i still liked the game and put around 200 hours into it. Its a good game, one of the best that year, it just pales compared to other games in the series. Plan to pick up Scholar once i find it for a decent price.
They nerfed that, but all it did was make it so you can’t wear the tankiest gear in the game while having a better roll than those who sacrificed defense for a better roll.
I know it wasnt their fault, it was a bunch of bitches complaining, and now most everyone in DS2 uses a katana, and they still havent been nerfed. I still would have rather fought people using the avelyn, or santier’s spear. Then everyone using a katana. Funny thing to is I didnt even use those weapons most of the time.
Took me a minute to realize where this was, when i did i couldn’t help but laugh. had he simply looked around while crossing that bridge he would have seen that skeleton. I think the much more cheap death is the one that takes place up above on the bridge when you arrive for the first time and a dragon breaths fire on it instantly killing anything present, i felt so wronged the first time.
I cant wait for this to come out.
I’m going to hunt you to the ends of the earth and kill you over and over CP.
I am really happy they clearly took a lot from Bloodborne and the speed looks dramatically increased from previously DS games.
I’m hoping the weapon fluidity match’s since Darksouls had a lot more variety in weapon selections that BB did.
I think they already said that this game will overall have less weapons than previous Souls because they’re trying to make them all more robust ala Bloodborne. Though I would imagine it would still have far more weapons than BB simply because Souls always had a wider range of weapon types, plus there won’t be any combination weapons to cut the count down.
Late as hell on this but I’m glad there will be a respec option. I’m sure Dark Souls reddit is going to have a stroke over this feature. I mean after all, making things more convenient = catering to those filthy casuals! Ugh… Don’t get me started on some of the fanbase in the dark souls community.
As for some of the new stuff, I agree that back stabs are done VERY well in this game from what I’m seeing. Also think the new weapon arts abilities add whole lot of stuff to explore and that already adds a lot of things on top of the dual wielding mechanic.
Very pleased with what I’m seeing and I can’t wait for the game to come out.
EDIT: Will the return of mana also come with with the return of “Old Spice”? The best mana potion ever?
