I’m either gonna start with a straight up mage or a Dex build in DSIII.
I like a challenge, but I also like tackling that challenge in unique ways.
I always play a Tank my first time…but I might try a lighter Dex build for my first run…But I also might just cosplay Guts and Smash people with my massive sword like always…
My Guts build in DSII is pretty damn fun.
It’s been so long since I’ve tried to make a tank in any Souls game. That could be fun too…

I miss the way buffs looked in DkS. Sunlight blade and [details=Spoiler]darkmoon blade[/details]don’t look at all bad in 3, but imo they looked much cooler in 1. Also, it still bugs me that when you apply a dark buff it turns your weapon into a purple popsicle; I can’t help but think they could have done something a bit better than that
I would not be at all surprised if they went with the purple popsicle look on purpose, Miyazaki probably likes it or something lol.

Oh yea no i dont pvp at all. Buffs arent worth it in PVP but massive ass chunks of all these games are completely irrelevant in pvp, lot of why i think pvp sucks.

Apparently DkS3 actually does some sort of automatic balancing for invaders/hosts. So like, it seems like you can invade people higher or lower level than you, but it forces your stats to be inline somehow. Hopefully this means low damage so matches actually take time and aren’t over in 3 hits because you had a dark buffed Chaos blade
I don’t have a problem with buffs, but I think it should be a thing that you have to find the time to get them off during a match. All this waiting at the beginner of a match so people can apply 100 buffs is just dumb. Sometimes I would let people do their buffs in 1, and they would do power within, darkmoon blade, and then vow of silence (casting VoS while someone is waiting for you is just a scumbag move). So if I was playing as a caster I was basically screwed at that point.
I mean, everyone has access to buffs. It’s not like they’re exclusive to some players. I don’t see how it’s a crutch.
I never understood just standing there and letting someone get their DBZ power up on. Back when I did PVP as a Darkmoon Blade I’d get hate mail from people pissed thay i didnt let them get all powered up and shit. Like fuck you, I’ve seen DBZ, that shit never ends well for Vegita.
I also got lots of hate mail for getting around the Estus lock out by using Humanity lol.
Yeah I think it is dumb too, especially for an invasion. People always try to ruin invasions by attaching these dumbass “honor codes” onto them. Invasions are supposed to be anything goes, no holds barred. Some of the best invasions I ever had were in Anor Londo, going tooth to nail against a group of 3 people trying to make their way to the boss.
Yea the dudes who want to impliment rules for Invasions are fucking hilarious. In a fight club ok i can understand. Its stupid, but i get it. for invasions tho? Fuck off, you werent invited to that persons game world, you invaded, there are no rules, host has the right to kill you any way they can.
