Tiny Being’s Ring, Old Witch’s Ring, Pendant, Binoculars are pretty much the worst. Everyone who speed runs dark souls starts with master key. So its pretty good.
Only if you’re speed running. Its benefits are limited and really only aply to a specific type of play.
All the keys to the doors the Master Key opens are within spitting distance of the doors, there really isnt much reason to take the Master Key unless you’re speed running, or are lazy.
Wtf? Bloodborne isn’t dead at all, it’s easy as fuck to find co-op. It’s easily the best pve of the entire series.
I’m with NAP though, as someone that does prefer PvE overall, that shit is amazing. It has the most exciting bosses for me, the most.thought provoking themes for me personally, I like it’s weapons the most, and while I agree that the never-ending darkness of it is a little too much at times, the fact that it is so intense is really just proof of how crazily good designed everything is from an art perspective
im mostly talking about the pvp is dead. Binoculars are pretty bad, since you can get them pretty easy. Master key is still better, cause it gives you free items and short cuts. You dont need Binoculars for magic also.
Just goto twitch and theres like no one streams blood borne. And people still stream dark souls and dark souls 2 pvp.
A good souls game should have good game play for PvE, and PvP, cause once I beat the game I want to do pvp, not just only pve. PvP has a ton of replay value
but they are available for free so soon after you leave the sanctuary… all in all the starting items aren’t supposed to be super good, but i would say that since they are underwhelming there is no reason to select anything but the master key.
edit: twitch stream numbers aren’t the end all be all of a games success
Yeah if you just don’t prefer it that’s cool, but saying things like it’s dead or no one plays it or whatever just because you don’t see it on twitch is a little strange.
Also the pvp ISN’T dead. People play PvP on it literally everyday still. It just is harder to find random PvP. People have organized groups going almost everyday though, so it’s not dead.
Just cause people aren’t streaming it on twitch, out doesn’t mean people aren’t playing it. Hell I still get invaded EVERY TIME I get to Nightmare of Mensis lol
PvP has as much replay value as the individual wants out of it. Personally I find way more replay value in PvE, no matter what the game is. So yeah, if PvP is what you value most, I understand why you wouldn’t like Bloodborne as much, but just because that’s what you value doesn’t mean any of those other assumptions you made are true
I dont see much replay value in blood borne, I mean once you beat everything and the DLC, theres nothing else to do. I heard BB pvp is a broken mess anyway, people spamming blood vials, and gun fire, doesnt sound fun at all.
SuicidalGrandpa why are you so mad? PvP adds a lot more stuff to do.
I know you don’t, that was one of my points, replay value is in the eye of the beholder. You don’t see much replay value, but I do. And there’s a TON to do. Chalice Dungeons, you can keep going NG+ and on, you can do challenge runs, you can do runs using specific weapons, etc. etc.
I feel like you’re just ignoring that other people have different tastes and interests in games. I mean, you even keep bringing up twitch and streamers like anyone gives a crap. If you like something, like it because YOU like it, not because popular streamers are playing it twitch.
Well, that’s how I see it anyway. I suppose people can like things for any reasons they choose
Ya how dare people for years and years of playing since day 1 of demons souls know anything.
Seems kind of funny people are still streaming pvp for DS1 and DS2 and no pvp for BB.
Im not playing games cause of twitch, im playing games because I have been playing since Demons souls, and it had good everything for PvE and PVP. So did dark souls.
