you don’t mash 3 :h: , you just press 3 :h: 2 times and stinger, cause dante Bold move’s back, and when you mash 3: :h: , dante bold Moves forward, hope that helps
It’s ridiculously hard for me to get the Grapple after the Stinger in these combos.

Either learn the timing or do a half circle forward instead
You want to focus on letting go of ur stick or pad before inputting the qcf.H. You have enough time for the forward buffer motion to cancel if you actually pay attention to what your pressing.
So a quick motion of Bold Cancelxx(let go)xxqcf.H… That does the consistent trick for me so good luck.

Here’s a video that’s supposed to give a briefing on Dante’s potential for team synergy. All this combos aren’t practical or even optimal (especially to all your guys and girls who make Dante great), but I think it gives a good overview of said potential.

Any videos of a good Dante in a real match, all I see are combo videos and most Dante’s I see only seem there for his assist, since on point I don’t see anything great

still learning Dante, this is what I came up with so far in terms of synergy with my current team (Strange/Dante/Doom). a little impractical 7-bar, 1-minute combo thrown in at the end just for kicks, lol. I just messed around with the fact that Strange can link an Impact Palm if you omit the last hit of Million Dollars, then DHC into 7 Rings. transitioned into the infinite which builds 2 bars solo.

I’ve been experimenting with ice (quarter circle B B) into devil trigger or volcano punch with sentinel assist.
another reason why I think sentinel assist is top tier, :).

I play at my casuals but it’s at an internet cafe so not only do we have to pay the hourly fee, we have to haul our recording equipment there, laptops, Dazzle, cables, etc. our ranbats are gonna start up soon and I’m gonna be participating, so look out for that. I think Top 4 is gonna be recorded, hopefully I’m gonna be a mainstay there. I have pretty much the best execution in my area.
in the meantime, I’m just gonna be shelling out these combo videos to keep track of my ideas. learning Zero as well, bringing in the cheap stuff.

Grapple forces a forward roll I believe - they don’t get options. That’s why it’s good 
Anyone know of any players who play dante with hidden missiles assist that might have videos of it online somewhere? I know BigD did in vanilla, but not sure if he even plays ult let alone the same team. I’m runnin magneto dante doom and there’s plenty of missiles-mag. But not much (read: any) missiles-dante. Thanks!
Last time I heard of BigD playing was at FR, but he wasn’t using Dante/Missiles, he was using some random Dante/Wester/Ryu team -_-. Glad to hear someone else on this forum also using the Dante/Missiles combo, it’s very effective, to be honest I personally think it’s better than Dante/Drones.
If you play on Xboxlive I can show you a few combos. I’m not very good at explaining combos and tech on a forum but I can show you some stuff through match play, I will try to get a dazzle or a recorder of some sort this week hopefully, so I can start recording online matches and show people what Dante/Missiles can really do.
Yeah after I posted that, I searched youtube for BigD UmvC3 and saw the vid from FR. Though I thought BigD was the one using Nemesis Dorm Doom. Could be either since he used Dante Dorm Doom before lol
Ryu FB assist was an interesting choice for Dante. I wouldn’t pick it myself, but was kinda cool to see. Anyway, yeah I like missiles w/ Dante a lot. Dante’s such a rushdown machine, but he can also zone like a fugg too, and missiles helps that big time (and sets up offense to boot). Im a huge fan of drones-Dante, so dunno if I like missiles better (though so far I think I do), but I like Doom far more than Sent so it’s a big time tie breaker.
Sure, id love to see some combos w/ missiles (I was just doing, during the OTG stuff, call Doom, Cold Shower xx BC xx jcS (or teleport jS), missiles hit, jump Hammer, finish. But I’m extremely un-fancy with Dante so no doubt there’s much much better. Other thing, though, is I’ll often use the missiles to set up my attack, so often they won’t be available to use in a combo. <shrug>
