Yeah. Now that I think of it both rounds were pretty close. Not a beatdown but…it just looks weird with Daigo not pressuring his opponent or pulling of a vicious comeback. Kokujin’s comment doesn’t help, either.

Yeah, I removed that cause I knew that you couldn’t post top 8, so I thought it would be okay to post that but then I read somewhere you couldn’t post anything from the big screen and that vid (and most of my others) were from the big screen.
When the dvd comes out and if it doesn’t have some of the vids i have, then I’ll ask around and see if i can put them back up
Anyways, Daigo did miss some stuff when he played Valle, I mean, Valle is damn good, so don’t get me wrong, but Daigo missed some crutial stuff…In the First round of the last match he gets back medium kick and misses the super link, then, right after that, he gets jump in roundhouse, low short, then he doesn’t get the next low short out, and the super still comes out so Valle gets to block it and win the round.
All in all, Valle did win the match, and he deserved it. But man, i wanted to see some daigo shit in the finals.
Daigo lost to Nuki and Valle…he got beat pretty badly by nuki, I feel like he plays too safe nowadays. The matches he played back then evo2k4 against Jwong and KO were awesome…he was aggressive, but now I feel like he’s more defensive.
But hey, I might be wrong.
There’s some vids of him beasting at gamers vision a month or so ago, he won a lot but he was playin really safe. Then the next Gamers Vision he lost to Kokujin…I wish Kokujin would have came to Evo this year, he’s hot right now, he beat nitto in a recent vid, the Evo2k6 champ.

I missed a lot of hit confirms on earlier matches which almost eliminated me…
So I opted to play very safe and punish what I can without a patern(very random attacking)…
I had a talk with Daigo when we(watts,hung,ryan hart,me) played for money after EVO(translated by NKI)
He says he’s not used to PS2 timing…and the results of the money matches (5-1 watts,3-1 daigo then 3-2hung even, 4-3 ryan 3-1 me)shows…
