Also, what was that game that made daigo lose his Title in A3?

After watching the match between Alex and Daigo in SFZ3 I have to say that at the time that match was amazing. But to watch it now after the major improvement Daigo made over the years its just fucking amazing. He literally did become a Beast. I have to give him props though. I wish I could take my game a lot further like that.
Also, in the same match vid between Alex and Daigo, those fucking SFZ3 cabs are too fucking beautiful. And while watching the SFZ3 TV special Japan had for the game almost drove me to tears. The fact that Capcom had such an event almost makes me wonder why they never did something like that in America.

Yeah, the level of play was very good considering the game had only been in arcades a few months. The style was generally pretty aggressive, since your average VC back then probably did only half as much damage as the best ones discovered to date.
It’s rather telling, though, that in Japan over 10,000 participated in the tournament, yet over in the US fewer than 100 turned out (IIRC).
