Its not scary its scrubby, Rol and Eagle have nothing for them in A- accept for random CC.

wrong. eagle can do crouching jab x2, activate, low strong (1 hit), into rest of his ground CC. simple, very hit confirmable, and good damage. so it’s not JUST random CC, maybe you just need to see a good eagle.
+1 But to Mr.SNK’s defense, I would think C-Eagle is stronger than A-Eagle.
i feel that eagle is probably better in C-groove, but A-groove can pair him with 2 more power house characters to make a better TEAM. because cvs2 is a team game, plain and simple. i just HATE missing that low jab x2, low forward, level 2 link with eagle and being wide open. i nearly never miss the CC link, and if i do, i can still do a 100% safe guard crush string of [close standing rh, hcf lk (1 hit)]xn and not be left wide open.

why dont people just do jab jab jab super with eagle instead of linking, that would get rid of the missing the lvl 2 super. Combofiend has some pretty legit eagle confusion stuff, so maybe he should comment. Blah!
you can do cr jab x2, crouching/standing short into super also. it’s all rapid fire and easy to do. another option.
that’s probrably debatable. If you play C-Eagle long enough, i’m pretty sure you’d get the link d.mk xx super more often much like your CC link. But you’re right about the safe guard crush (until they AC you). And c-blanka/eagle/sagat is a pretty strong team as well, but probrably still can’t compete with the cheapness of random bs activates and a-blanka/bison and the like.
Like you said, it’s a matter of player preference.
@ 0:23, he does s.short, c.short(ch), c.fwd xx hardedge(fierce).
that was risky using c.short for a counterhit setup. c.jab gives the same frame advantage as c.short, so doing a c.jab instead of c.short would probably have been better since you dont’ run the risk of catching them trying to jump and getting the 2 frame link instead. i know people say 2 frame is easy, but are you really to risk missing a fierce hardedge? just go for rolento style.
