Hahaha, brothaman once again stepping in when I’m too lazy to post. Yeah, lets do cvs2 session: birthday edition at my place tomorrow, start around 8-8:30 as usual.
MGL = milpitas golfland, a hive of scum and villainy. J/K, its right off the Jacklin rd exit of 680. 2 cvs2 cabs and a lot of people playing on fridays and occasionally on wednesdays (though it’s been pretty dead lately).
Hey Albert, could you please pm me your address? I’d probably be down to stop by after the NBA finals game tonight. Let me know also if I should bring a ps2 stick.

Glad everybody could make it out last night, ggs to all! Until last night, I did not really appreciate just how much faster console is compared to arcade, fucken vega. K-groove guys, is there any trick to getting better at JD’ing? Or is it just something you eventually get the timing down for?
As for this friday, well it’s been a crazy cvs2 week. Played 5 times in 6 nights! I may just take it easy on friday, or go to SVGL for just a little bit, not a serious crack session. See you all on Saturday for sure at the tournament!
About JD timing, its all about anticipation of when the other guy would strike or what blockstrings they do. Think of it as a pseudo parry, eventually if you really analyze the tendencies of other people, you get a ballpark sense of when to JD. Personally, JDing(and Parry) helps mind reading skills, after a while you not only get a feeling, but if you really actively think, you can probably think ahead of what the other guy might do based on the match.
