I’m free this week. Are any of you guys planning on going to MGL this Wednesday? If so, if there’s interest, maybe we could session at my father’s place on Wednesday instead. No one will be there due to some sort of vacation trip and it’s only 5 minutes away from Milpitas Golfland so it’s very easy get to. And we can get an Uncle Sam’s from Pizza Box too. I have a PS2, CRT, an HRAP, and an american stick, so if we get one more CRT/setup, this could work.
Anyone? If not, I’ll probably be down for MGL/SVGL as well.

Yeah, I’m Dennis. MGL sounds good, I just really want to play a bunch of CvS2 before I have to leave the bay again and arcade mania sounds like a good way to go. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to one, it’s been years, rip double Saturdays. If there’s a turnout, maybe we could go and ranbat later with food and beer. dunno, let’s see.
I am out of commission until Friday. Y’all should still play this week though.
I’m actually with you on that Albert. I never play $6 of cvs2 in any night, so it’s not really worth it for me. I’ll still pay sometimes when there is comp, and at least MGL stays open til 11, so you can get a lot of games. But still, that’s why I’ve been having people over to my place on Wednesdays from time to time.
And yeah, I know if I go K I’ll be facing some tougher matchups. So far, I don’t know if I should be encouraged or depressed that I’ve generally been getting the same results in K as in N. :wonder:
You just started playing K right? If you got used to JDing, you could go a lot farther.

Its because you keep missing those links! Before anything you gotta make sure your shit comes out. Once you get execution down, then you can work on reading your opponent and win more. I forget if i asked before but, how often you go to training mode to make sure your basic stuff comes out? We should just sit down sometime, get into training mode, practice links and maybe how to get around pissy situations people get into. Just playing casuals all day doesn’t always help.
Other things i can think of is just watching key parts of videos and maybe seeing whats up with that part. I know some people just get better by playing, but not everyone can do that.
I thought about it and I’m definitely down to host a ranbat on this Saturday afternoon ~3:00-4:00. 2000Watts and his friend said they could bring a CRT so I guess there will be at least two CvS2 setups. So if anyone else wants to come, please message me and I’ll pm you the address. Or just ask watts since I sent him the address and drop on by. It’s only about 5 minutes away from M Golfland. You guys could also bring SSFIV or w/e else if you’re interested in other games too.
Saturday doesn’t look good for me now but if plans change I’ll come through. If anyone else can bring a setup to Noontide’s that would be great. I’ll still roll through MGL Friday night if anyones down.
Watts, if you go on saturday, you think I could hitch a ride? Ranking battles seem like a good idea, It’ll make people play a bit more seriously! hopefully i don’t do too poorly.
Lol went to MGL today, it was decent, theres some people here and there playing. Biggest thing is the SSFIV Cab replaced the old T5 cab, so theres a lil more than usual now.
Hopefully you guys can finalize friday or saturday for your ranbat o_o

Alright I can make it Saturday to Noontide’s session. He said it was cool to have it 8 pm to midnight or whatever. Brotherman I can pick u up. Who else is down?
