So the CT scene is mostly focused around Stratford? Do you guys use 360 or PS3 mainly? I’m from the New London area so it’s a bit of a drive for me, but perhaps I’ll get involved later once I’ve gotten the basics of the game down.
There are quite a few players up north that come to my place for casuals. If you think driving up to East Windsor is worth it, that’s always a great option.

Like I said I’m new to the fighting game community as a whole and haven’t even started practicing anything yet. Just scoping out the area.
I’m sure it’s the same case for Gaming etc, but Windsor Wednesdays have broken in about 3 or 4 people who regularly lurked this thread.
It’s a great chance for you to meet some of the regulars, as well as play against some guys that are literally just getting started out.
It also runs all day and there are a huge variety of games to play. Kind of a joint operation between SRK and Dustloop these days, so you can experience the more anime side of things as well.

We play mostly on 360. If you have experience playing on a stick then you don’t necessarily need your own, as we usually have a good supply of arcade sticks. If you don’t have experience, there’s no better place to start than in a casual setting.
