Well for this lock in Iām pretty much gonna tell my job to suck a few dicks so I can go. They know I take my gaming seriously and that I have no qualms about quitting the second they make it so I canāt go to events. In regards to people not being able to attend gatherings due to busy schedules, some times you have to plan in advance. Gaming Etc is open every day but I try to coordinate for Sundays to be the day people show up for fighting games. I have a full time job(i believe people remember a tournament were I spent being on a business call and running brackets) starting a side business, school (12 credits)I still try to be a competitive jujitsu competitor(2 work outs a day for 5-6 weeks before tournaments) not to mention doing maintenance on my house. So I can say a thing or two about being busy but still making it out, I run these gatherings for you guys to have casuals and all of CT can play with each other, I convinced Gaming Etc to get the monitors so you guys can play on standard tournament monitors and Iām trying to build things up more for you guys. I donāt even play at the gatherings sometimes Iām there checking work email or doing home work but I would hate the ct scene to die out
Its hard to get alot if ppl for a lock in dude, your gonna have to get bigger pots or something to attract more ppl. If you cant constantly get the same ppl every week, the lock in is a risk. Gonna have to hype the shit out if it, get streams, get dsp, get alot of shit to promote it. remember, pizza delivers until a certain time, you need to find out what time duchess opens, you need to know the hours for the dunkin donuts and gas station. If you can get it hype enough, you can utilize ramada down the st to and advantage. im just trying to give a small constructive criticism view. Maybe get a flyer no shit for more peeps. You can def get ppl to help you man. Any suggestions? Money matches? mvc2? pull out the big guns wally!
Actually they are having the lock in for magic/board games/d&d/and the other card games they run. They told me about the lock in and to ask if you guys would be interested. As far as money matches go thats between you guys, if someone would like to stream ti as Howard has to work that day please just send me a PM. This. I donāt care how āassā you think some game is. Take it to the general discussion of that game. This is the regional matchmaking forum. Not the regional disrespect and generic opinions forum. I know Iām guilty of saying stuff, not saying Iām not, but we canāt be doing this. I know You feel very strongly of your opinions donāt jump, but this isnāt the place to voice them. If we get hype about something and want to discuss it, sure, but I just feel like opinions need to stay out of this thread or posts should end with " but thatās just my opinion and I respect that yours may be different"
