Essex I feel your pain, makes me wonder how does this affect tournament players. Will people still be interested in playing MVC3 after EVO knowing Ultimate isnt that far away? Whats funny is that after the Gaming Etc tourney my interest in MVC3 was rekindled and the knowledge of Ultimate MVC3 kind of killed it : /
They probably could of patched character specific stuff like Wolverine’s Berserker Slash and Phoenix, but I have a feeling that the DHC glitch was a little bit more complicated to fix. I don’t mind the revamp though. Capcom usually does it right the second time around. It’s when they go to “fix” things that aren’t broken is when the problems come in.

Please, find me forums/posts/board messages where thousands of people are demanding Rocky Raccoon, Dr. Strange, Firebrand, and Hawkeye. SHOULD have been implemented in the first game (because of taskmaster) is not a demand. It’s a logical input. Your logic is this: abc was in there…why not xyz.

UMvC3’s announcement made me want play MvC but not at the same time. I think I’ll practice it just for the practice with the chain combos, because I’m ASS at those thing. I press the buttons way too fast lol. My team in Ultimate is loooking Nova/Vergil/Super Skrull. Ahhhh so excited.

I remember reading an interview before MvC3 came out where Capcom said they wanted to add as many different and obscure characters in this version not the same ones we kept seeing in every game. On the Marvel side they didn’t have much control, like somebody said Marvel forced Capcom to make Shuma dlc instead of one of the original cast(which is what they wanted). I’m excited for Dr. Strange, Nemesis, Frank West, Iron Fist and I can’t wait to see what Phoenix Wright and Rocket Raccoon play like.
Anyways, Steve Fox in SFxT is what I’ve been waiting to be revealed. So happy about that, pretty much have my team set with Abel and Steve unless they add someone I like more than Abel.
What i want in this thread more is some more love for MK. Its only been me, Jeremy and Walter who talk it up. Show some love for MK dammit

DJ I liked your post which spawned the whole page of replies that followed it… not because i agree with you (though on some points i do), but because of what you said about FFVII: Sephiroth and Cloud eat a ham sandwich movie. Mostly because I would be one of the millions of sheep who instantly purchased that lol.
As for UMvC3; I dont like that new UI, the design conventions from the new game dont match those of the old game (basically anything written in BadaBoom in the old game feels super out of place in this game.). They will probably change that. I dont like how characters turn invisible when they XFC (making the dark stage even gayer since 1979), pretty dumb idea imo. Dr. Strange is the only member of the new characters that I give a shit about. Everyone else can go back on the shelf imo. Ghost rider is cool, but he looks like he plays like a combination of dormammu and spencer 
I like the new moves and the nerfs. Im hoping that Phoenix is more nerfed than they let on… does she really need her normals to be projectiles? I wish they had added venom so that Esco could win EVO2K12 tbh. I will play the game again when it comes out, but i really suck at vs games so im prob just gonna stay free in it. Oh, and i never played that game that Phoenix Wright is in, but i guess he’s a lawyer or some shit? What’s he gonna do subpoena you to death? I think there should be a dark phoenix wright that activates when you kill him w/5 levels and dark phoenix wright could be super badass OP brokentier; throwing giant books at you, and suing you for 800,000 damage.
