I’m the complete opposite, I HATE playing MvC3, it’s just not fun for me. However, I think its super duper hype to watch in competitive play. As long as I’m not the one having to deal with the BS it’s all good hehe. I would say its definitely the most hype to watch of all the fighters right now.

Hey to anyone who can read this, what is the deal with the parking? It’s killing my trip and I got the money situated and where to stay, I just don’t know how the parking works. I dropped my friend of this morning in the garage next to the con building. My plan is to party for the whole weekend (friday to sunday), and that’s $40 apparently.
I pull in, hit button, get a ticket. Bar goes up and I drive in.
drop him off, drive out, then need to insert a ticket? I didn’t get it back but the bar went up and I left.
On the site it’s $40, yeah? My friend gave me $20 to spit the parking costs. So where do I park and how do I get the deal?
I’m assuming I have to have a ticket, and keep it so it tracks that I was there those three days or something? Do I have to go inside and get a special pass? Or is there special parking for if i pay for CTcon? Could someone please help?
Just get ur ticket and find somewhere to park in the garage and hold ur ticket put it in ur car w/e and come in.
But what happens when I leave? Aren’t I going to be charged? Since my plan is go from Fri to Sat, the fee I’ll be charged will be more than if I do some sort of all-weekend package, right?

Out of the 38 characters you have seen 35 being played because MVC3 is random and i can pick nearly any combination of characters on a team and they’d be a good team. The game is horrible. I’d love to see anyone in MVC2 picking the lower half the cast and doing well. Playing with a high number of characters in a game does not make it great. In fact, it usually diminishes a game. If my ABC characters can do fine against XYZ and vice versa…lets all just pick random characters and see what happens, right? Because everyones viable right? (sigh) That’s exactly what we’ve seen in mvc3 thus far. People picking all sorts of different teams and doing just fine. The difference between this new age of balance and lets say the balance of Super Turbo…its 10x EASIER.

Theres so much you can do with DHC set ups, team chemistry, etc in this game that all you really need to know is
where characters go in terms of battery, anchor, mid and you’re golden. All you do in that game is do the same strategy all the time. Same combos, same set ups, same patterns. It’s rinse and repeat. Everyone does the same combos, same dhcs, etc. The mix ups lie only in the initial hit to begin the combos/patterns. I think XF makes the game exciting, but it makes it random and stupid. Oh yeah, and he did a random DHC into Spencer for bionic arm too.

It makes sense guys. Balance doesn’t make a game fun, it makes it bad. I don’t want to see a game have everyone play the entire cast, I want to see a game where everyone plays as the same 4 characters. Also Arcade Edition is shit because Yun/Yang/Fei are too good and I hate seeing everyone play as them why don’t we see more people play hard characters like Ibuki or Dudley? That game is so shitty it’s just LOL SAME 3 CHARACTERS.

Your points are valid but your conclusion is where its flawed.
Having more viable characters is a good thing.
If team ABC can do fine against XYZ then its probably a 5-5 match up which is a good thing.
Therefore this game is not horrible. I would too call that balanced.

B. He loses in his next match.
C. He seems to lose alot since he never won a WNF title.
