I’ve dabbled in Tekken a time or two… Seriously, in Tekken 5 DR, I was arguable the best Julia player in the country. Not a big fan of Tekken 6 because of how the game works and the fact that they turned my character from a safe semi versatile character into a high risk - high reward character, but I’ll still play it for fun. But not in tournaments any more.

Ohh alright. I was just hoping to find a way to get into it with someone who actually played the game. I plan on picking up Tekken Tag 2 whenever that comes out.

i find it pretty retarded that all of those players werent sponsored by other teams a long time ago. These companies sponsoring players obviously blow at fantasy football. In the meantime Markman is raping the league. Good for them, not their fault everyone else is stupid. Sponsorships shouldnt be handed out on a “gym class dodgeball team” recruiting strategy, like it or not. This is business, and Madcatz seems to be the company who is most serious about that fact. More power to them. Sucks for everyone else, but its their fault for sleeping on these players. BlueNINE, your argument falls directly in line with the dodgeball team strategy, asking why no american players have been sponsored by madcatz yet is like asking why there are no girls being picked for a stacked dodgeball team in gym. The answer is that there just arent any girls available that are as good as the guys that MCZ has picked so far, so why would they? They’re trying to beat the game, not have fun and give everyone a chance to play. There are no participation trophies that increase your bank account balance.

I had an HRAP at one point. My only thing against Hori sticks is the way the buttons lay. Not used to the Japanese curve on those. DJ, Hori has always made high quality arcade sticks. Its just because MadCatz is American based and came out with the release of SF4. Plus, I would much rather have Dirk than LeBron. Yes Dirk has a ring, but he is and always has been consistant and to my knowledge, never jumped ship to win.
One more thing. Its probably not a good idea to go saying you think someone is a moron. Especially Realyst. He doesnt fuck around as they say.

I understand what you are saying. But The Dallas Maverick didn’t give money they got from their fans that helped build them into a champion and give it to The Miami Heat so that they can get Lebron James and Chris Bosh. That’s the difference.
And if you want to use baseball as an example where some teams give other teams money to sign players via the luxury tax, those teams still make sure they have awesome players before they give up their money. Matter of fact, the reason there is a luxury tax is because teams spend so much money on themselves that the league makes them share their money with teams with less money!
