You know nothing about fighting games or in a larger sense, gaming in general. I love when you post, because its always bandwagon and you going along with what other people are saying with little to no input of what YOU actually think/know.

All I got from this is that my defense gets exposed, I’m too slow to react, slow the game down for me so I have a chance to win.
All I got from this is I lose to scrubs constantly to begin with because I have terrible defense and get hit while I mash buttons. However, once xfactor is activated I mind as well unplug my controller.
Xfactor is a decent concept and can use tweeking. If they do anything to “balance” the game it would be to reduce the xfactor damage and speed. On top of the fact increase all character healths by 50% with the exception of pheonix/dark pheonix. Xfactor is good for punishing the overly aggressive during a block string and saving a character from chip damage in critical situations. Basically, the idea is good but the implementation is flawed and thats where patches come into play.
Can we get alittle bit less complaining and alittle bit more gaming…

DJ just shut up. Like I said before you are too fucking free to comment about anyone. Especially in the knowledge department. You seriously don’t understand these games at the level you THINK you do(Or when it comes to SF4 you don’t know anything at all.) I also think it is funny how you comment on my gaming knowledge in general when you type more than you actually play. You have got to be the most idiotic/annoying person I have ever met, and I have met my fair amount of trolls. You complain about people not wanting to get to know you in person and this is why.
And I actually think for myself thank you. I have my own opinions about these games and don’t just follow what evenhubs or SRK posts unlike a certain someone.

You’re trying to be a better player. Regardless of how you think about the game, SF4, you are there trying to improve your gameplay.
MK really doesn’t have that much broken stuff in it that is practical and used, and it is already getting patched. Like I was suggesting before; I hope people around here will give it the chance it deserves.
MvC3 isn’t really just random and/or “mashy”, and it’s hardly without actual mixups. Sure, some people will play that way, and some people just throw out common strategies, but that alone really only goes so far. X-Factor is definitely overpowered, but if you use it properly and play enough Marvel, it’s actually not as big a deal as it might’ve initially seemed. Hopefully this game will be tweaked a bit, but I am enjoying it even as it is.
As I was suggesting before, it can be hard to get a proper feel for these games, but after a while they do make more sense, and they do seem better. I don’t feel the need to go on about this or repeat myself (again, basically), so that’s enough on that topic. Perhaps people will either already see what I’m talking about, or will give some thought to it and perhaps see it. Again, it doesn’t mean everyone will like the games, but I hope people will at least give them an appropriate amount of respect.

did terrible in a tournament, had to let the salt run out. i’m playing pokemon black until AE. I was thinking about showing up sunday, but I don’t know. same hours? i usually wake up late on Sunday’s and have breakfast with my father. If I can move that to saturday morning I’m going.
Its cool man it happens to the best of us, at the time I have to stick with 11-6 pm on Sundays which at the moment works best for alot of people.

I’m still one of the only people who play a character because they LIKE THEM, not because they are “solid” or are “top tier.” I don’t want a fucking medal but do not preach to me some BS when you play easy mode scrubby mash characters like Rose, Cammy and Bison.

(Halo to to Halo III, MVC1 and 2 to MVC3, Smash melee to Brawl, SF4 to SSF4 to AE, BB to BBCS, Guitar hero 3 to Warriors of rock, Donkey Kong country to Donkey Kong 64, Perfect Dark 64 to PD X360, Final Fantasy 1-8 to final fantasy 10-13.)

I shouldn’t say you but if you really think about it, alot of people who NEVER played this kind of game or EVEN any fighting games before bought MVC3. They are going to try to win no matter what. That’s the point of learning the game.
