Or at least take into consideration that no one is going to read your diary posts.
But I did skim over your posts, and had to laugh. You do know that players like Justin are what we call “training mode warriors”? I mean he may not play against human opponents a lot, but he sure does use that training mode.
Like seriously, why are we even arguing about the use of training mode. Has to be one of the most idiotic topics I’ve heard in regards to fighting games ever.(At least the way it is being discussed)
I think so. I’m really feeling Marvel (aside from the insane damage) and SSF4 I think has gotten one too many revisions. Especially when the newest revision was purposely made unbalanced… :annoy:
No. You don’t have to read your opponent to safe jump. It’s a safe jump because you know you can. For characters that you cannot technically safe jump (E.g. - Ryu) you can safe jump without an attack; empty jump in the same manner as a safe jump. Such that if Ryu SRKs and you do nothing, you block. If you had to read or anticipate, it wouldn’t be guaranteed. Moving on.
Nope. I said that if the things you’re using it for are what you’re going to restrict yourself to doing, then you’re not using training mode to its fullest potential. That’s a fact. And, the fact that you see this possibility, but choose to ignore it, is, well, “ignorance”, by definition.
No. Are you sure you’re not trolling? I have to wonder, because it’s obvious that the exact opposite of this statement is true. A lot of the best players in the USA aren’t employed by “societies normal standards” or work just enough to sustain themselves and in fact, play all day, errFuckin’day. Ever wonder why a majority of Sanford Kelly’s “casual matches” are money matches? It’s not just because he can and most likely will take that money from you, it’s because you’re not the one paying for his train ticket home. I encourage you to see The King of Chinatown if you have the chance to. Afterwards, come back and tell me that most of the top-level known fighting game competitors in the nation don’t play at least a majority of the day. And for those of you who’ve seen it or know about it, I’m not just assumming things about Empire Arcadia and the way they work. All I’m saying is that anyone on that level plays enough to guarantee that they know and act on that much about the game that a majority of others don’t.
No. Again, no. Any top-level player will tell you that training mode is a distinct part of understanding and encorporating what you’ve learned into your game plan. You are trolling, aren’t you. The only reason mid-level players have to practice more than high-level players is because high-level players know how to practice correctly.
In regard to everything else you say after this about high-level players, and if you say all you say you know about this game, it really doesn’t matter. The bottom line is that these people consistently place in the upper ranks at tournaments. With all of the “luck” and “guessing” and “bad matchups”, etc, they keep placing high at a majority of the tournaments they go to. Please explain to me why that occurs.
You’ve just answered the question as to why everyone hammers on you on a consistent basis in this thread whenever you post. In fact, you’ve basically outed yourself. Completely.
That’s why everyone stereotypes you as a troll/ass/don’tknowwhatthefuckyou’retalkingaboutGuy.
Please people, if you want to waste your time responding to Don’t Jump, please do not quote him in your post if possible out of respect for the people that have his stupidity blocked. Thanks!
Damn it every time I come in this thread I see a Dont Jump post (which I don’t bother to read) then a plethora of posts following of nothing but flaming what he just said. Shit is hilarious. Is there anything else that ever goes on in this thread?
