Very true. But i’d definitely make the effort to travel semi locally if more casual sessions were going on or even on a more local level, if my friends were still into/doing that sort of thing. All my friends do is play TF2, halo, cod, or some mindless game they will get bored with within a few months or until the next shooter comes out. That, or RPGS.
I havent gotten into an rpg since like FF 10 came out on ps2. I played 13 but didnt really care for it…never finished it. I miss the age of arcades, reading game informers and nintendo magazine and actually having to LOOK UP CHEATS and not going onto gamefaqs.com or cheatplanet.com to get codes. You used to have to READ to get you through a video game and not a text document.

About the magneto combos, the adf fierce x 5 is his.most damaging bnb unless you can get all 7 reps off the ghetto rom.

I want to try to work on getting tempest off in corner after a few reps of either the fly or air dash loop. I usually do shockwave into dhc fatal claw but i want to do tempest to it because in the corner shockwave does NOTHING to the point where its almost a waste of a bar.
Also, shoutouts to Zucco for using my original team at the break 104. He makes me want to go back to using taskmaster and just dropping mags.
I think mags is a better character overall tho imo with a great balance of pressure, loops, defense, the best lvl 3 in the game, best reg grab in the game.
Taskmaster’s a way better character than magneto, he does far more damage for the most basic stuff. His air throw also has a lot more priority and is a ridiculous os with the right assists or even without any assists. It kind of sucked seeing zucco getting to grand finals by mashing but c’est la vie.
Magneto’s really good in this game, but he requires a lot of work since it’s too easy for him to get hit by random garbage. You have to learn how to zone with him and be able to hit confirm very quickly. He has very good combos and damage if you can execute, his air throw is not that great though, it’s range and priority are ok but throw setups get mashed out of so easily.
I think I am good enough to best at least one person in Marvel, so I think I’m ready for my first tournament, even though my current team I probably will drop or at least change a character.
Smoke’s overhead is insanely fast and he can combo off of it, but it can’t be hit confirmed so the move that must follow it just had to be done. Hopefully that move is punishable because that overhead is unseeable and with a meter it can do at least 40%.

There’s no frame data in guide because supposedly, they plan on changing it as time goes on.
Taskmaster I beastly. I’ve been using him. His air throw is good and can be supered after for quick damage. What’s not to like about that.
