This brings me to my actual point. The Vs series has always been a beast series. Has evolved in so many ways. Everything up to Xmen vs street fighter was pretty well fleshed out.
That NEVER happened with Marvel. Not 1, not 2, and so far after about a month, not 3.
I remember a tournament a looong time ago. Back when striderine were considered top tier in MVC1. A few of the horsemen went down to the East Coast Championships to try to see how good we really were.
Quite a few of us could have won that day, we were all so sharp from fighting each other and our brothers back in Trumbull, Bpt, Waterbury, Vernon, Meriden and so on and so on.
Although we didn’t win that day. But what we did do was flip the tier list upside down! Literally UPSIDE DOWN! DJ, UPSIDE DOWN!
I never believed in Tiers, not because I’m smart, quite the contrary. It is because I’m stubborn. CT Fighters,(if anyone remembers that term), didn’t care about tiers, not because they were stubborn, but because they were smart enough and tough enough to overcome a little adversity. Thats how I ever got to place in a major. Because of how sharp the people I had the fortune to play against here in CT really are. Never caring about tiers, kicking eachothers asses and focusing on WINNING AND HAVING FUN.
I didnt come around for any SF4 tourneys but I watched you guys. Some of you people are fucking SICK! I think CT has a great scene and a lot of the younger guys doing it up in SF4 are the reason why. Please keep it up.
So, DJ when you say, 30 days after a game has been out that something doesnt make sense to you, its most likely because you are myopic.

I have a better option. I think this needs to be done IN PERSON. This way there is no lag and we can all enjoy and great one on one contest. If you are willing to do it, you guys can come down to PNT on sunday. Hopefully a good amount of us will be there and I know Phil is coming so we can definitley record with some pretty badass commentary. Personally, Id love to watch it live and not watch two boxes having sex.

I agree this needs to be delt with in person this saturday we have Uprising in Vernon, sunday there is PnT in danbury and then next saturday there is Project-Failure. Plenty of days to pick from.

Sorry to derail a bit but as some of you know I’m going to be leaving to japan next Friday on vacation. I setup a youtube channel called howardshowcases to record my adventures in tokyo.
