It IS fun. Definitely. The game is really fun and intense. But when “anything can happen” where I have MINIMAL control over that against certain cast members when they reach lvl 3 X Factor (Wesker, Jill, Akuma, Phoenix, Magneto) I really don’t want to put money on how lucky I can be. When top level players say that playing random against Dark Phoenix is a viable strategy that is a sign that we should all start looking at each other and really take a second look at this game.

LOL. You’re not that good at this game. I will definitely go even with, or beat you. It’s not difficult to be good or decent at this game. Because it’s random and mashy.

Kryonik: I honestly think you don’t read things. When you talk about damage at the end of the round an additional average boost of nearly double what you normally would do is HUGE.

To be more clear, we all know X was made for the scrubs. Why else would it be in this game? Good players don’t drop combos and know like a 630K-800K damaging BNB combo. So for a good player to land a hit its a quick death most likely because at the end of the match near the 20-30 second mark in most cases health is pretty avg or low amongst all characters. Some cases, not…but most? Yes.

All i’m saying is that I think this game is mashy, random, and too overpowered.

and I’m just like, really? random combos and crap get you a win at the highest level of play? Cool. Floe is obviously miles ahead of Codylicious and he gets lucky random crap and takes a game. Now imagine this against average tournament players playing one another.

News flash, you are a scrub. You’re not a top level competitor so stop acting and talking as if you are one.

Now, while I will agree that X-factor is dumb, it is by no means a win button. You still need to land hits. And better players can block O_O

Now rob may mash frantically in marvel, BUT, Rob is the best masher in CT. Young kids from all over japan and korea look to just catch a glimpse of how fast robs hands push buttons and wiggle the joy stick back and forth. To those kids, rob is GDLK.

so i know im new and stuff to all this but i really wanna see that money match. this dont jump guy is reeeeallly dumb no offense bro u just not takin the advice these guys r tryin to give u they r trying to help ya out. sorry if that sounded bad i hate bein mean :sad:

on a side note ive seen some videos of mvc3 and i have noticed not one person uses viper :sad: ive been messin with her and love her soooo much lol

I believe MarlinPie’s Team is Magneto/Viper/Ammy and the word on the street is he’s gotten beast at Marvel, but is it beast enough to take the CT Marvel scene out?

And as always Project-Failure will support/stream any Money Match that brings hype and this Rob vs DontJump match is sounding pretty hype.

Since Rob said DJ MIGHT win 1 match. I’d be willing to put down $20 smackers that don’t jump wins at least 2 matches. (Not that I favor either player, but I do believe Marvel does have a random factor hehe)

One of my fellow Project-Failure colleagues you might know as blondie actually had a really good idea for this money match. Going to run it by the people and see if we can actually make it happen.

You know, some of these people may or may not like how I act but you know what? I sure as hell think they are respectful and cool in my book. They’re not rude to me.

Granted, I say “words” and complain about MVC3 and SSF4 sometimes because lets face it, definitely scrubby shit in both of these games and sometimes I just wish both of these games were made better. In all fairness, MVC3 was one of the most anticipated fighting games ever and it just…failed. I’ll still play MVC3, AE, MK9, etc. but my interest is fading just like it has for every fighting game i’ve ever played. I see a lot more negative aspects in MVC3 than I see exciting or innovative.

I mean honestly, just go watch some matches. That X Factor and phoenix random hyper crap makes me cringe.
