I’m having problems pulling off Taskmaster’s standard bnb. Specifically the air magic series (j.M, j.M, j.H, Spidey Swing, j.M, j.H j.S). After the Spidey Swing the j.M tends to whiff. Sometimes it lands and others it doesn’t. Are their any specific conditions to land it?
It won’t connect if you have too many hits before it in the combo, for one. But beyond that, maybe you just need to work on the timing a bit, since you can’t just press the button whenever and have it come out immediately.
It’s also a bit characters specific. It works on everyone, but it is much easier on some.
You can delay the Swing a lot after the j.H if they are too high, which will make it way easier to land the following j.M.
Try to hit the first sj.
as you’re still ascending so that the opponent doesn’t get launched as high. Once you get the first sj. just right, just punch in the rest as quickly as possible and you’ll never drop it. It also helps to wait for them to drop a little off the 
+:h: before launching them.
It is a bit characters specific, so you might want to experiment. The timing will be slightly different on floatier characters like She-Hulk.
As quickly as possible? So then does that mean that the j.H before the last swing only hits once?
Most of the time.
Well, I always let it hit twice. J.H pulls them down, making the first arrow lift much easier because you get to land to position yourself before relaunching.

From the video it looks like it may be a timing issue that I’m having because I seem to be hitting them at the right height most of the time. I’ll keep practicing.
I, sadly, don’t own the game just play with friends and watch vids. But I was curious. What does Task get off Sword Master > Unblockable(assuming blocked if it changes the hit at all)

You can’t combo off the unblockable hit itself? You have to land it during the Coldstar(that was the set up I was planning to use anyway) so the end of it hits to get anymore out of it?[/LEFT]
you can combo off the ublockable solo, butttttttttttt you have to be properly spaced, and its a tough link. If your spacing is off by a little bit you can’t combo off of it though so its not recommended (you can link a cr. A)
^^ Cool I did not know this, it’s actually not that hard to setup. You just need to hit with the later active frame of the first headbut and you’re gold.
Sometimes I wish Capcom would have just given Taskmaster shield skills as an assist to replace parabolic arrows assist.
Just to clarify, when Task uses his swing move; what is he saying exactly?
He’s saying Spidey Swing. Sound effects happen at the same time that make this kind of difficult to discern and make it sound like a few other things. But if you go in to the sound test, it is quite clearly Spidey Swing.
Well I’ll be damned. With the sound effects on, it really sounds like Mighty Swing. I guess it gets muffled pretty bad. I wonder how many other sound effects get distorted this way.
Yeah the sound effects are kinda in the way, but Thor doesn’t swing on a rope, Spidey does. It bugs me how often people mix this up. It’s pretty obvious without having to hear it correctly.
Is there a video showing the exact spacing of how to connect with a normal non-X-Factor hit of Sword Master?
Also, what is the timing of doing a 2nd Arrow Relaunch into air. S? I can Relaunch, but I can’t figure out the timing since the opponent recovers too quickly. I’m usually around 25-27 hits when I attempt it.
