Been using Taskmaster/Storm/Sentinel with Tasky on point. Storm and Sentinel get him in like nobody’s business with whirlwind and sentinel force. I’ve put parabolic shot for his assist so when the others are out they have to stay on the ground where storm and sentinel can do business and storm can keep them out like it’s nobody’s business.

Seems like the right team…

Is that part of the bnb really that hard for people? I feel like hardest part is making sure the :s: hits them at the right height to do the full ender. The start itself through to the :h: :h: is not really something you should be dropping, you just have to learn the timing. That sort of thing, replacing largew chunks of it, is just going to nerf your damage + metergain more than it needs to be nerfed.

It’s not that the BnB is that hard, but I can only land it about 80% of the time, which is not enough. Sure 8 out of 10 sounds fine, but that dropped combo could be the deciding factor in a win/loss.

I said in an earlier post that I leave out the “M, H” before the launch when playing online. If I’m playing in person, then I’m going to leave it in for the extra damage.

This combo does slightly more damage than the normal BnB (with the same parts removed/added).

is it just me or did capcom not really acknowledge taskmaster
i mean hell seth killian talked about haggar and phoenix when they were revealed
but it’s almost like taskmaster wasn’t that important to talk about or show off at the time

They probably realized he was going to be one of the strongest characters in the game, and would introduce himself in due time

He doesn’t really have anything noteworthy, besides being totally solid. It’s ironic that for a character who copies other people’s moves, he doesn’t seem to stand out since everything he can do can be done by someone else.

how often do you even get 3 bars?(unless your sitting on meter for phoenix)

Having strong zoning that can cover the whole screen and can cancel into alternate direction fire zoning safe super OR counter super if they get past it is more than enough to make up for no L3 :china:

Immediate j.B,j.C,j.D is an instant overhead on Sentinel into a full combo.

Definitely helps with the matchup.

I actually think Sentinel probably gets blown up by Taskmaster already. Zone him out, hard, he’ll have no way to get past charged QCFL/M/H with supers to cover ground you miss.

His Aegis Counter does very poor damage and cannot be Delayed Hyper Combo’ed…the only good use for Counter Hypers its when U expect Ur opponent will switch characters…

You can use it on reaction to Ultimate Spider or Ultimate Wesker. You can use it this way for pretty much any rush super.

For those that don’t know, you can input the Counter super during your opponents startup animation and it’ll come out immediately afterward.

I have a question concerning Taskmaster’s spidey swing. Are there certain characters or moves where it is generally unsafe to do it? Haven’t played too much but I’ve only been punished by Spencer’s Bionic Arm during Spidey Swing startup.

i only use it after I set it up with L and M. Also if i need to evade and you’re fairly high up to where they can’t punish you on the recovery.

I haven’t settled on my team yet. I like Arthur because he’s pretty good against Sentinel, and Haggar’s assist is pretty good, but I don’t care about them as long as I have Taskmaster.

The two combos I use (and like):

Is there any combo definitely better than these two out there? And is there one similar to the first one that works mid-screen as well?
2nd combo is my get-in-your-face combo, canceled from a dash, usually with assist cover, works everywhere, super-easy.

And is there anything that combos after Air Legion Arrow?
