BnB:

cr.A,cr.B,cr.C, web swing, j.B,j.C, land b.C, s.S, j.B,j.B,j.C, web swing, j.B,j.S (can squeeze another B or C in there if your high enough), land then MH Air Legion Arrow. ~670k 1 meter but use LH Air Legion Arrow if you’re midscreen since it smacks them far away on the ground.

Something silly that works well since his jump is rather low: Air throw -> jump and low MH Air Legion Arrow, lots of damage from a random air throw.

His C counter works against projectiles but has loads of recovery, so be careful with it. I tried avoiding sentinel spit and he just does not recover in time. Same thing with mags disruptor, his can pump them faster than you can counter. I believe it actually reflects non-beam projectiles, but haven’t really messed with it.

Not really as big a fan of his Hyper counter as I’d have thought, doesn’t seem to have nearly the use I was hoping for. I tried X-factor out of blockstun -> hyper, but it seems to start up rather slow and didn’t catch the follow up move.

Oh, other notes since I use him on point:
Chun LL assist: Use a basic block string, end with web swing if they’re crouching, if you late call the assist chun will keep them stunned as you cross them up with your web swing, cancel out with j.b to start a glorious case of ambiguous pressure :rofl:

Obviously with chun LL, you can A,B(call chun),C and by the time your C finishes she comes in, use DP+C and you get free unblockable if they don’t push you away. Be aware this is really range dependent, that head but has NO RANGE.

I’m experimenting with AA assists to help with his awesome zoning too, so far Trish and Spencer are both douchebags when used with him. Spencer is just silly, if you catch them during a jump and they aren’t blocking it’s a free BnB or whatever.

Anyone else noticing Tasky’s huge airthrow space? This is good to know.

Can’t the first hit that needs to be blocked (DP+ATK) be pushblocked so the follow up headbutt unblockable wiffs?

If? so? then that makes it pretty fuckin useless @___@;;

im gonna be running with some variation of X-23/Dr.Doom/Taskmaster how do you think that team sounds? im also thinking bout using X23’s low assist/Dooms hidden missiles and Tasky’s OTG arrows assist anyone have any experience with this type of team?

I think Tasky goes well with just about everyone.

just a quick suggestion kaworu - you might want to make a not in the description or something explaining that if you use an assist like Sentinel Force, Lightning Legs, Cold Star, etc. you can actually go into a full combo from just the headbutt. Nice video, definitely helpful for people who want to explore Taskmaster :slight_smile:

I wonder if that works with Tron Fire assist or Hsienko Darkforce Pendulum assist…

Tron because of the limited range and hsienko because of how the hits are kinda spread out.

Interesting. An unblockable where the escape options are universal to the system direction. Intentional?

The DP move is terribly difficult to setup, and if you’re going to use an assist to set it up, then you can’t use an assist for the anti-pushblock. But hey, if you can land a 100% combo off it, it’s a threat that needs to be acknowledged.

Been using Tasky a lot, people get super salty over mighty swing on psn lol. I’ve been using Tasky point, Wesker with the low gunshot and Spencer with the wallbounce, I’m 50/17 in ranked atm, loving this team.

Tasky Sentinel is ridiculous but I just am not a fan of the big guy in this one. The Drone assist is bananas as a tool to help get in, hit the assist, mighty swing, mighty swing, and sometimes you can cross up with the downward arrow super.

Using X-Factor you can get around 1,000,000 off of the unblockable. It can be any level of X-Factor.

i like using task for building meter…i use him to rushdown but i like the option to keep away as well.

So I’m having trouble with Task’s mission number 9. What the timing on the assist. If I call it as soon as I hit the ground without doing the air aim master immediately hitting the button he doesn’t come out in time and the dummy recovers. If I do the Aim master right after it all combo’s but I don’t get credit for it. Anyone do this one already that can give me an idea of the timing, it’s driving me nuts.

Edit: Alright I got, turns out I was just using the wrong Legion arrow at the end. I was still doing the air one.

Thought I should mention that Dante’s A assist (Jam Session) works really well with the unblockable. If you call Dante and immediately dp+A, then the opponent’s guard will be broken right before the last hit of Jam Session. This will launch the opponent and allow you to get a juggle off of the unblockable instead of the normal weak follow-ups.

Indeed, I’ve been using Ammy for the same purpose. I’m really satisfied with how Taskmaster and really my team in general came out.

Nice you can combo from the throw. Probably not the most damaging option, but nice he can do it.
