There are gonna be 3 floods:
- The flood of people whining about characters.
- The flood of people looking for information.

The first flood has started couple of weeks ago. Fun stuff.
maybe they’ll be silly enough to add a level 3 hyper that more or less copies movesets or the other characters level 3 - although with his powers it woudl be impossible for some/most characters…

im sort of warming up to taskmaster…the voice is helping: its godlike. as far as copying moves, itll be a nice bit of irony if task makes cap and spidey obsolete (although i called cap being low tier when the e3 build was first changed XD) hes got their specials with more options? yea, looks like he should be decent on paper. still think as a character hes a lameass though. dude couldnt even take out Moon Knight. MOON KNIGHT.
he’s lacking a lot of the actual strengths cap and spidey have tho’, no web ball, no real DP, his charging star is nothing on Caps, nothing at all like shield slash, etc etc.
only strength that really matches is him having the swing.
But dat arrow spam windie.
Not to mention Hyper Aim of Hawkeye hits OTG, and his counter can happen on reaction to the flash. What would it do to Raging Demon?
His arrow specials look WAY better than web ball.
Most counters don’t work on grabs, so, die most likely.

And again I tend to think you can do almost anything in response on the flash 
edit: Its not if web ball is better, but rather something that Spidey has that TM can’t replace.
I don’t expect Tasky to be all that good honestly, sure his arrows OTG, but so do a lot of other specials in this game. His damage output doesn’t seem so hot, but if you got great Yomi his counter work would be vastly annoying.
Still run him, but I’m just not seeing anything that is tourney worthy so far (With what little we got).

Raging demon is a grab, counter supers dont counter grabs.
Actually Hakumen’s Astral counters grabs.

However we don’t know what Taskmasters Hyper is set to counter. It could work on grabs but I doubt it.

But yeah, I doubt it counters grabs. It also doesn’t beat projectiles (akuma hadou beats it in a vid, I think).
He does a 70% meterless combo in his reveal trailer, and it looks like he ended the combo early… so I don’t know what kind of damage output you’re looking for.
His swing actually looks better than spidey’s, unless the webslinger got buffed, in his older videos you couldn’t combo with it while Task can.
The real question to taskmaster’s viability is twofold:
What assists does he have and how good are they.
How mobile is he.
