it doesn’t take that long to build a meter if you are hitting hella buttons. hail storm is a good super.

Hail storm is a great super for chip and taking out assists. But lightning storm FTW:lovin:

Fo’ Sho.

If "in can be considered a verb than you can COUNT me on it.

YAH

Sweet.

Sent is a cheap ass robot.
-unblockable after combo on wake up is 2 simple once you get the actually timing down
-Way tooo much priority on normals

  • sent / capcom IS the best duo in the game that is MVC2
  • Zoning is a game sentinal controls for free because the way I see it is when Robot is getting rushed and you push ne button in the air, robot has adv.
    In air
use of Fierce, the opponent flies across the screen and you can dash back and standing beam
use of RH, advantage becomes neutral
use of jab, dash back and do what you see fit
use of short, I don’t recommend this outside of fly combos n ground combos

Pretty much dudes “The Truth”

Tempest: If your going to go to evo you should enter all the games you enjoy

p.s. Sup seattle peeps
p.s.2 Ay sup Chunk, hit me up on aim

^ Word up, Bruv.

'All: I’ve been watching a Stri/Sent/Doom videos. I’m beginning to understand the concept ;D I"ll try much harder tonight.

As far as I know, it’s a lot lot easier to start Sentinel. He gets meter for Strider (so you can potentially simply safely DHC Hard Drive to Ouroborous) and beats the characters Strider has trouble with.

I was beginning to think the same thing. ;]

How do you come on screen after being snapped out without completly raped by infinate whores? its kinda gay to get and your character isn’t even on screen yet!

So… Starting with Sent is jus’ sweet. I play as hard as I can and once Sent’s gone, Strider traps, confuses, and chips away.

Too good. I’m enjoying it. Still not a fan of Sent and Doom, but I"ll live ;D

Preppy, did you get my PM?

Yep, thanks.

Going back to the purpose of this thread, I need to partake of the greater wisdom out there. WTF do I do when I’m getting stomped in the corner? I just get flat out raped by sentinel, and I’ve got no clue how/when to jump out. I’ve been told to push block, call AA assist, and SJ cancel the assist animation. When I watch the rest of you guys jump out, I have no clue how you do it. Do I push block early in the stomp pattern? Late? What should I be looking for when I’m getting corner stomped? Is there a particular time to jump? Or do I just SJ, hold block on the way up, and pray that everything works out? And is there a different approach when my opponent has unfly?

This is a tricky question because what you do really depends on the situation. The tactics may be rather different depending on which one of your characters is getting stomped, whether the opposing sentinel has unfly, whether or not you or the opponent have anti-air assists, etc… Having said that though, it sounds like you already know what to do in a general. Basically just pushblock and try to super jump out. If you are slick you can guard cancel too. You don’t see people guard canceling stomps that often though.

My solution is get on that ass lol jk. But if I’m mag or storm I will just dash around n mover around the screen with no intention of hitting while sent is in fly mode n just to scare them so they fuk up n then they’re done.

I wavedash out of the corner on accident during stomp patterns sometimes because I’m trying to pushblock and am unsuccessful.

What’s your team?

Most of s’pretty situational… Laregly dependant on your opponent’s consistancy. If you get an opening jump or hit back. Push block to give yourself some room if you don’t 'ave an AA or an AA assist. Otherwise pushblocking isn’t exactly necessary and you could risk wiffing an assist.

You could also bait him into a snapback.

Regardless, it depends on your team.
