Game save? Oooookay. If I could get copy from you next weekend, that’d be great. If not, I don’t have anything to transfer from pc-DC, so I can’t get it off the net.
Yeah, just bring a memory card and copy it off. Both my DCs have the card in the controller, it’s really easy to copy.
Also, watch Row’s Cable from ECC9. That’s probably the most Row Cable footage I’ve seen, and for the most part that’s who he’s using to win the matches.
From ECC 9? Thanks! I found a lot of Row footage on the site, but I only checked ECC 7 and ECC 9 for the MM and mid-tier stuff (Mostly toward the bottom of the page).
The new ECC9 stuff is generally only on YouTube right now. I think it’ll be up on my site in maybe two weeks.
MOUF-BEEM! Thats the biggest thing you need to work on IMO. Your sentinel fights other sentinels okay, but when it comes time to deal with storm and mags you should be mouth beaming, and canceling with fly, unfly. Force them to jump and dash at you so you can fly back and smack them with a fierce.
Also, I would practice wave dash. Wave dash is critical.
Yeah! Wavedashing is a necessity in the marvel world…
Your sentinel > me, for I am teh suck
can anyone give me tips for Jill/Sentinel/Cammy?!?!?!?!?!?
I can give you some tips for Cammy, I suppose. First of all, play ground assist Sent, don’t ever use jill as an assist, and dash in with low kicks or jump in with shorts against characters without beefy launchers. Against characters like that(storm, Mag, IM,etc), practice your spacing with the dive kick and command throw, but don’t use the command throw unless in the corner as a mixup. If you manage to pressure your opponent with sentinel’s assist effectively, cross up as much as you can. It’s very hard to read whether Cammy is going to cross up or not sometimes; space it right and you can choose to kick sooner or later and either hit them from front or cross up based on the timing of your kick. These little details are pretty important sometimes.
Jill: c.roundhouse xx super. Counter. Lose.
Sent: ask Mandel (his sent is pretty damn good), I’m still getting the hang of his advanced techniques.
I don’t play seriously enough to do this much, but – with Cable if you hold down the button while doing the grenade motion and then release it, you can get the grenade to detonate right in front of you as opposed to a little ways in front of you. I don’t know if that’s news to people, but – shrug
^ Interesting use of Negative edge. I don’t play cable so what is it that causes the 'nade detonation? The duration of the button press, I assume.
(I’ve been playing the game since it’s arcade release in the 90’s and I"ve touched cable, twice. I don’t know anything other than see a few lines on AHVB, which is pretty straightforward in itself.)
So I’m sorta feeling like I’m not improving much in 3s or Marvel… anyone have some advice/criticism for me?
I can’t tell since I don’t play marvel but are you more of a marvel player or 3s player?
Not saying you can’t be both but you said at one point you can’t even remember makoto’s command grab.
Your chun isn’t bad and we are lacking chun players in general. I recommend you stick with her, and get your hit confirms down. Do you kara throw with her? Highly recommend it as she has the best kara-throw in the game.
I also suggest learning this.

PS If anyone has any advice for me about 3s I’m dying to hear it.
Also any beginner places to look to help learn marvel.(vids/walkthroughs/etc.)
Alright so I’d figure I’d post in this thread for some ST constructive criticism. I think my main problems is a combination of not understanding matchups, inexperience, and not being very patient. Any criticism for ya boy Deezo? I’m content with the characters I play so I’m good there.
Practice harder.
And remember, go ninja, go ninja, go! back flips
Wow.
Did I just blow your mind?
this guy loves ninja turtles themed posts lately.
Lol.
I’ve been playing a lot of the TMNT: Tournament Fighters and Turtles in Time on my SNES and TMNT2 was probably one the best movies in the history of everything…Keno dude. How can you hate him?
And Kevin Nash as Super Shedder? COREY FELDMAN AS DONETELLO! THAT IS TOP TIER!
