Has anyone played with changing or reducing the bitrate in ADX files to reduce their size? If anyone has any suggestions on how this is done, it would be appreciated.
It would help me cram more things into the next version of TDC_Final

You can see if your drive is supported on the cdrwin website. Go to http://www.goldenhawk.com/ and see if your drive is supported, you can als download newer version of te program as well.
thanks but still the samething comes out even with the new version!
btw my pc is new:rolleyes:
mine says that also, but you can still make the image. just ignore that.
anyone know why my marvel retarts right before its done loading in my DC? the only thing i skipped is making a dummy because my iso was already 580MB.
I need a custom PS2 Marvelā¦My DC is dead.
hey does anyone have anymore links to change the music on mvc2? some donāt work. I know its been asked before, but I would much greatful if you guys/girls could help me, thanks.
Question, does anyone have any of the announcer speech converted? Iām looking for the Marvelous part of it
I tried the exact same process in trying to do a custom CvS2. I already know what files are which and all that, the problem is that it doesnāt even boot up fully. It makes it to the SEGA screen then back to the dashboard. Can someone help me on this?
Then you made a mistake somewhere and have to redo it. If you see the Sega logo, then the ip.bin was inserted fine, but it canāt load the 1st_read.bin. Either its not there, wrong folder, the LBA the 1st_read.bin is set for doesnt match the disks LBA, .ISO wasnt made the right way (xa1), or its not scrambled. Just try again from scratch.
I rip the disk, replaced certain files with the custom music and burned it on selfboot. I also put in a hacked ip.bin on another one to verify and it still has the same problem.
that would be kool
hey psycothronic, I got the same problem trying to do a custom cvs2. I dunno what can be wrong
Sadly no I dont know what files exactly the sprites are. But I have a mvc2 sprite pack of most of the sprites for mvc2 that was ripped when chankast came out.
As for the game loading screen I cant either seem to find that adx file. I went through all the adx files and none of them seem to play that screen.
^-- I will pay money if someone could provide me with a MvC2 with modified character/sprite colors. Yellow Magnus ftw. Black Storm ⦠some non-blue color for Cable⦠
Yeah, the Seattle Glitch Video (more or less by Cody, I believe) swapped around the character files, but Cody doesnāt remember anything about it. I havenāt seen any other swapped or custom character videos⦠I figure people have tracked down these files before, but taking the next step⦠that would be extremely interesting to me. After I finish encoding my next batch of footage I might take a look if nobody else is able to figure it out.
Well I think the files fo each different color of character would be these files:
S_PL0BA.BIN
S_PL0BB.BIN
S_PL0BC.BIN
S_PL0BD.BIN
S_PL0BE.BIN
S_PL0BF.BIN
and so onā¦
There are 6 files for what appear to be every character, so those I think would be the files for each color of character. Now the hard part is opening those files(probablly with a hex editor) and changing the values to get the desired colors. It would be easier to test and try if we had a good DC emulator so we woudnt have to burn a copy just to see what it doesā¦
I sent email to the one person I know of who worked to some extent on MvC2 for XBox, asking if he might be able to connect me to any of the developers for the game: might as well check and see if we can get a cheat-sheet here.
Agreed on the emulator issue: I would have sat down a while ago and put some more information together myself, but had some serious problems being able to burn valid CDs. Still, itās a long-term project of mine.
