Ok, so I’m trying to burn a plain old self booting image of CvS2, but every time I put the disc in the Dreamcast, it takes me to the music screen. What could I have done wrong?
Lack of inserted IP.BIN in the second session
Alright, so I noticed that IP.BIN is not in the cdi, but I don’t understand how to create one for it.
Yeah my bad HELLA LATE.
OK, so I decided to download and burn Toodles’ Dreamcast fighting game collection just to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong with the burning.
It was complete with the IP.BIN and everything, but when I burned it, it still kicked me to the music menu. I thought this Dreamcast stuff was supposed to be simple lol.
Edit: OK, so one of the things that I can tell is making it not work is the fact that each of the images I’ve been trying to burn were bigger than 700 MB for some reason. I have no idea how to fix that.
So I’m doing everything correctly as far as I’m aware in DiscJuggler, and yet I still get kicked to the music screen.
I try to burn it on Alcohol 120%, I get a focus servo error in the middle of burning. I don’t know what the hell is going on.
EDIT: Forget any questions or concerns I had because I managed to get this to work. Downloaded BootDreams and used it to burn the game and it works perfectly! I guess it was some setting I had wrong when I was burning it the other times.
so i didnt see a thread about the custom colors…i wanted to get into doing this (dont have a dreamcast, just wanted to do it for nullDC) PalMod just isnt loading the game. what could be the problem?
