Competitive gaming is stupid?

Well that was quick.

I’m not saying you should like sports. I’m just saying you’re gay if you don’t. Which you are…so I don’t see the problem.

I don’t know why people tried to argue with Funky.

I use to talk to that cat on AIM all the fucking time about Marvel, 3S, CS, WoW,the Japanese fighting game scene compared to the US fighting game scene, pretty much everything. He basically taught me how to use Oro as well.

My point is, the nigga’ is legit. He’s never steered me wrong when it comes to gaming info.

So, listen to the man.

People have opinions all the time, in fact, I’m having one right now!!! The internet is one big pool of opinions. I say: don’t get too offended/excited about one just cus it’s in a video rather than a forum. After all, if you try to reason about it the terrorists win.

What happened here?

Thread is even worse than before.

It just got worse. Change your horrendous AV immediately.

Grow up.

lolol, dude 99/100 at least couldnt give two shits, even if they know someone who is involved.

looked at his gamer tags and it looks like the legends of lore are at it again

Some people on srk are not that smart! How can you argue what is good “professional” and what is garbage? If you get paid to do something and you are better than all else at it not only are you a professional but you are highly skilled at your profession. It can be gaming or picking up trash(an actual garbage profession). We have a man here trying to clear up the haze about pro gaming and people are bashing what he does! Why? He makes money! He would like to help others make money and understand what it would take to be a successful professional gamer!

When we have people making more off of pro gaming in America then half of the MLS,( A sport that has no problem in many other contries with being profitable) we have no right to say what is shit garbage and what is quality. Period.

Like funky said, If you want to go pro understand that 10 percent of people will make it while the other 90 percent will be just better than you! That is the same with any sport! Look at street ball and the NBA. Why does the and one tour exist, because the other 90 percent wanted money and a man like funky helped them to get there. Simple, but for the people here they would rather split hairs on what a “professional” actually is because they will never be one in any facisit of life. Oh, and by the way, if you get people to pay you to play anything with their product,(being sponsored by a company) There is no better definition of being a “pro” than that.

Thank you for your time people of srk

Stan Quo Outty 5???

my comment was up there. what an ass.

anyways i saw someone say it but i didnt quote them but why cant gaming be considered a sport? people respect it enough to watch it play it and understand it. true its not physically active but neither is chess fishing deer hunting pool or poker and those are considered sport.

LOL Chess is NOT a sport. Pro gaming is further from a sport than chess is. At least chess takes enormous amounts of skill. Most games these days are pure garbage. Just like the players.

this spiteful message has been brought to you by Mihai, and the makers of Haterade: restoring your ability to negatively rant on a subject long after others would’ve given up.

Haterade, is it in you?

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Ok, dude. Let me take this time to introduce my new sig.

Whatever this guy said, I couldn’t be bothered. If you’re going to make a VIDEO don’t make me read any fucking text, especially not for the whole thing.

 Hell nawl man.

to you maybe but ask anyone knowledgeable on the game and they will tell you differently

A sport requires physical prowess. I’m fully aware that chess is considered a sport by the International Olympic Committee, but that doesn’t really mean shit. It’s all political. If you go by the standard politically correct definition, which states that a sport is something that requires skill and/or physical prowess, then yes, you can lie to yourself and consider chess a sport. But let’s be real…if that was all you needed to classify an activity as a sport, we’d have shit like the World Masturbation Federation.

Mihai: Its apparent that you dont know you are talking about and your ignorance is really obvious at this point. If you have any decent questions or opinions that arent coming out of your ass please let me know. But until you reverse your talk flow… Your not even on my radar.
