Deep hatred for Kung Lao ever since MK2. Will not touch that character, regardless of how good he is.
@Jade talk: Strategy guide only left me in question. What made me say " Jade is ass " is because of a certain ducky saying the things she could/couldn’t do against characters that will more than likely be seen often. If I manage to get to David’s house today, I’ll make my own assesment. Training mode then actual game play. Gotta have my training mode fix. All I know is that I don’t want to get TOO absorbed into the game… CS2 is right around the corner and I still have ATL Revival to practice for.
Side note: Josh, i know its been like…slightly over a month but do you remember after MvC3 finals at FR, u were texting me b/c we (Columbia) left early and i never got that Evo related thing, do u happen to still have it? I wonder how much Johnny has changed from the demo…i hear Stryker is ass, Sheeva’s properities behind her X-ray got me thinking that she’s got more potential and isnt ass like ive (also) heard…Kabal is solid as always, Sonya got them legs (and a dive kick now??..i wonder if its like the UMK3 version), and they need to just put Rain in the game already dammit.
The hype for MK was too strong today! Playing 2v2 teams was way too much fun and I might actually have to buy the game now. I just don’t wanna spend 60 bucks on it. I’ll be having casuals after 3pm tomorrow, for those who wanna come by and I hope everyone who goes to Myrtle Beach has fun!
Yep, 2v2 was defiantly alot of fun. And teleports in that game are so stupid. Why was i trying so hard with Kitana
EDIT: just played from 2am-4am in story mode. Im now on chapter 9 (kitana’s story) Re-arranging my button layout helped ALOT. Now i feel somewhat competent at this game. Only a few more chapters to go and cyber sub-zero will be unlocked. But for now, i need sleep.
This is a genius idea…but 1 small issue is that i personally wont be at MB lol…but ill be there in spirit so i suppose the ceremony can still happen!

ok i know the last link i posted was a tad controversial…but this movie Mac and Me sounds like a good movie yall to watch at the next movie shindig yall do…from what im reading, its said to be one of the worst movie ever sold…im about to watch it now personally…im in the mood to troll myself. I…dont even know where to begin with this movie…. I suppose im glad i watched it b/c now i have a basis of comparison when it comes to “worst movie ever”…but good lord was that movie horrible…i thought Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter was a bad movie…and it was…but at least that shit was low budget…this movie has no excuse.
While the bros were into dat MK story mode, I had a station to myself and decided to do an exploration with Jade. While I was already skeptical about her placement in the strategy guide’s tier list, what I’ve found out reinforces the idea of her not being a terrible character. Hell, she doesn’t even -feel- like a terrible character.
I’ve found out many things and ironically enough, it seems some good people have finally gotten ahold of her on TYM.com. Ironically enough, the video that is there is an assessment of everything ( Save for the boomerang resets, didn’t know about those until I watched ) that I’ve found out today.
Funny you just posted this, b/c I’ve been in the lab with Jade for the past few hours after seeing that video. I knew I wanted to give her a whirl beforehand, but after seeing those boomerang resets I HAD to pop in the game immediately. Posted a few vids on my Twitter (Matthew Seifert (UVolt) on Twitter) but it’s nothing that’s not already in that video.
So yea, even without the resets, she is super solid. The only thing I don’t see her having is a reliable high/low mixup. Hopefully I can figure out something as far as that goes. And is it just me, or is her jump arc very deceiving? It crosses up at odd moments, which is great. Anyways, once PSN gets sorted out, Team GREEN (Reptile, Jade) is gonna run wild all over some fools!!!
I enjoyed casuals tonight and watching Simplekiss finish story mode. I’m getting a copy of MK for PS3 tomorrow and will sit down in story mode. Hopefully, PSN will be back up soon so I can get some needed play in D:
