I’m for the people who believe Vega is fine and should be the standard for character effectiveness. If he got something, a knockdown on nj.hk might be fair.
-Allow nj.HK to hit behind Vega when he’s twirling, it’d be really nice to have an option where you neutral jump check in case they suddenly jump but they end up doing a dash or special that puts them behind you, like when you neutral jump over Rog’s straight<br>-Make s.HK and c.HP anti-air from situational distances, like at the tip of the limb. This way he has some AA options he didn’t before, but still has to reaction jump air-to-air against jumps aimed at his torso/head<br>-make c.HP not a totally useless move, seriously, fix it’s hit/hurtbox, frames on hit/block and let it hit crouching<br>-either make c.LP +5 on hit or make it a 3f move. Preferably the later; that way Vega finally has a 3f punish besides throw, and c.LP > c.MP is still a 1f link. But there’s no reason c.LP linking should be an unplinkable 1f link.<br>-Make his slide more like Bison’s; faster, safe from certain distances, FADCable. Being able to FADC back on hit will give Vega consistent oki/safejump afterwards<br>-Give him back his old damage on c.MP and EX FBA<br>-Make it so that the rising part of EX FBA doesn’t cause extra damgae scaling in combos, as it is an EX FBA > Izuna Drop counts as two hits.<br>-Give faster startup to the non-jab rolls, no reason they should be THAT slow<br>-make s.LK 1 frame faster<br>-make close s.HP 1 or 2 frames faster<br>-just remove close s.LK and MK from the game seriously why are they even there, or at least give them good frame data to make them good for frame trapping<br>-MAYBE give EX Scarlet Terror invincibility<br>-the regular Scarlet Terror’s should probably have better hitboxes<br>-allow LK Scarlet Terror AA to combo into Ultras<br>
Look, There are many things I want but I am going to continue to complain about invincibility vs invincibility and things like the ending of BHC’s active frames if someone does a reversal projectile Ultra. I don’t give a damn whether you deserve it or not, a projectile invincible move should not get it’s invincibility cancelled in the way that the ultra does.
I understand if someone reversals with a physical ultra like Shin Shoryuken or even Ken’s Shin Ryuken, but I refuse to accept that a projectile can hit vega in that way. He shouldn’t be stopped in front of the character as if he’s hit a wall mid flight and didn’t even begin to recover. I think it makes ultra one so much less viable and I would really rather use it.
I would like to leave all of the light attacks alone except perhaps stlk…it would be nice to stop dive kickers. I know it has ability to stop cross ups.
I am begging for RCF to at least be a true block string. It isn’t cool that you can mash and invincible reversible through it.
I’d like to make SHC useful in some way. EX is a one time thing most of the time if even that and the negative edge issue makes it just that much worse.

Because SHC is stupid the way it is now. I’d prefer increased knock back on hit, or decreased recovery on hit. It’s just a spammable-ish move as it is now. I’d gladly give that up for real buffs.
I have to agree… This is going to be the last update. Considering how much characters have been nerfed in general, I’d expect 90% of the cast to have more buffs than nerfs, they’re going to want to appease as many people as possible, so they don’t have that bad taste in their mouth when SF5 comes rolling around on PS4. If you have a legit reason for a buff to Vega be sure to post exactly what to buff and why when Vega comes up next week. Just posting a wishlist will guarantee your post to get overlooked.
Vegaman i saw your Post and liked it a lot, but really this isn’t the time to say stuff “Vega doesn’t need” lets not put this in any sentences for right now, just say buffs The more we ask for both this time we’ll most likely get it. Take I-frames with fadc and better hitbox on normals both with open arms.
If someone says a crazy buff for Vega and we actually get it, imuh just be like “oh well” it’s there now =P

First of all. The Claw Throw and Mask Throw mechanics could be smarter.
To begin with, Claw Throw has no use whatsoever, its just a tauting move. There is never a levarage using it. To make things worse… the game accidentaly reads this input. One solution is to make the move unusable if the Personal Action is set to “None”. Either that or make the motion a HCB, 360 or something. But I think that the first solution is more suitable and smart.
When the Mask is thrown it you shouldn’t be able to get it back, or make it like Cody’s Knife. Down + HP + HK to pick it up. They wasted one bar to get that +10% damage and now the have to play “The Floor is Lava” to doesn’t pick it back up and waste that meter.
Its a small thing, but it is important.
Vega needs a way to anti-air people if he wants to have a shot at getting top 8 in majors.
Making the legs of EX ST invincible during the 4~8f (only a part of the actives, not the startup) would make EX ST a AA while not making it usable as a Reversal. Either that or increase the hitbox of crHP and reducing the hurtbox.
HP.RCF has to be a blockstring against everyone in the cast. Saying this feels like pointing out a bug that should be fixed. The move has 20f of startup. He is no DP, they shouldn’t get Ultra because someone blocked it.
Less pushback on crMK just enough to make the combo crMK crLP on point blank possible on the entire cast.
At least +1 frame of blockstun on CH. He was not even close to top 8 when he had a -1 CH back on Super. While the environment changed a lot since then, Claw didn’t. Let the guy play the old Kara Throw / Cosmic Heel mix up again is a way to ensure that he can deal with strong defenses

So finally it will happen, that balance update we were longing for. Thanks to Hazltan for his proposal of transmitting our propositions to Capcom. Maybe some of the nerfs since super were due to non-japanese claw community not being visible enough to them. =)
For the mask pick and removal command, why not, but let’s not forget that v2012’s Claw might need some buffs to be viable for a major. Specially the partial body invincibility on EX-ST idea, now is the moment to ask for it.
As for me, I’m trying to learn SC2 atm. Greetings to Star and Gross_indecency, maybe well spare again when the new balance update is out.
