“Keep vega as it is” means he will be low tier in the next version…read also what japanese players ask…invincible ex scarlet but this is not enough to be really competitive
I can’t possibly understand why someone would reject +5 on jabs or CH restored to its previous god-like version. These will alone make Vega jump in the tier list. He should no way remain as he is.

I think as well cLP and cMP might have been confused.
— Having +1 histun on cMP could be asked by people poking with it, so they aren’t negative on hit and could keep on with uncanceled pokes
— 3 frames jab would make it a 2 frames link as well.
Another thing that might make one think about transcription error is about EX-ST. It is said « more invincibility », while he has zero right now. So it’s not about having more, it’s about having it. One explanation could be them referring to the hurtbox design (which is indeed invincible to low attacks). But I doubt so, 'cause it’s not so much due to the hurtbox than to vega’s position.
Still, we’ve been heard about jabs, about reversal, about anti-air normals, and about CH. It’s still too early to rejoice, but that’s pretty much all we asked for. =)
EDIT : one last thought. IF, and that’s a big if, we get part of what’s discussed, I sincerely hope Ryu players didn’t ask for 2 frames jabs, +1 hitsun on cMK, and invincibility on DP’s recovery. =D
It has just 4f of projectile and throw invencibility. It certanly could use more. And no ST is invincible to low attacks.
Regular STs have 16f of throw invencibility. EX ST could use the same and more projectile invencibility would be nice, especially against Viper and Gouki.
But I don’t know… I don’t think that anyone asked for that in the Capcom Unity thread. Also, did anyone asked for a 3f crMP? Its weird.
Lots of people asked for easier links, 3f crMP would make it much easier.
Yeah, you’re right, but I sure hope that’s not what they understood when we asked for an invincible reversal. That would be the greatest trolling ever : « hey, you asked for I-frames on ST, we made it invincible against everything but physical attacks, just like it was before. Yeah, no change in fact ! »=D

In that way, it makes sense, though it would be a weird character design.
Now I must confess I had more problems with 1 frames links than with 2 frames ones. Mostly with cLP in fact. And I think it’s the most common case.
This made me laugh out really loudly. Both crLP having more hitstun and crMP being 3 frame is so OP and broken I would just rage so badly at capcom.

Yes, that’s not the moon, but personally I think that’s quite good changes. Depending in how much they will modify those (+1 histun, but blockstun as well ? How much frames faster for ultras ?) we could even get reliable comboable ultra. Those announcement lack of details, but still at least we’ve partially been heard.
At the other end, I’m a bit worried for 5 more chars announced : that’s potentially 5 more imba characters to be fixed in the future. ( ’ ')

The difference between 1f links and 2f links is everything in the world.
I completely agree on that. Imagine you were pulling jab-jab-jab-jab combo on the same consistency as the cr.mk-cr.mp combo. That is a huuuuge difference.
And the same goes for Ultras. Even one frame will help. I will not in this world choose U1 in any match again but 1 or 2 frame faster U2 will make a huge difference.
I agree with that. 2f link vs 1f link is massive.
If they make U2 have faster startup Cosmic Heel > U2 on a grounded opponent should be easier aswell.
So it just occured to me, and although it might not be very practical… Comboing into ultra 2 from cr.mk will be just a bit easier. Might be really viable depending on how much faster they make U2.
I really hope that crLP is now +5/+2. If it is +5/+1 Claw will still have problems after a blocked crLP. Characters are getting hella buffed. Claw need REALLY good buffs to be able to compete.
