You know you’re a scrub when you show up to play with just a 360 fightpad and everybody is playing on PS3 with sticks. gg me.
I’m not comfortable with a stick and I’m not familiar with SSF4. Just one of the two I’d be fine with, but both is a bit much to start with. I’ll see about getting a converter.
In the meantime, anybody in Dayton want to destroy someone who’s never played Super and is out of practice with fighters in general? Just enough for me to learn a couple things lol.
Fuck the bull shit. Don’t let us elitists make you think you need a stick to win. Yes, having a stick helps with higher end technique. However, if you are more comfortable on a pad do it. There is a strong pad nation at AL and I am sure they will accept you with open arms. 
Haha I know I don’t need a stick. I’m just saying I didn’t come with the right equipment (can’t use the 360 pad with a PS3). I just assumed it would be a mix of consoles rather than all of just one. I’ve been around fighting games in general long enough to know that everybody just goes with what they’re comfortable with.

I also live in Dayton. I’m not very good (but have been improving!). So, the beatdowns won’t be as painful. We can level up together if you want. (I also have a ps3 though, sorry!)
I won’t be able to make it next Thursday either, because of a lake trip. I’m really bummed I didn’t make it yesterday. Stuff keeps coming up right after work on Thursdays for some reason.

On that note, anyone wanna road trip to see Excision at some point? I was thinking of a 5-6 hour car ride at the max, if he were somewhere in Chicago or St. Louis. I doubt he’d go any further than that.

Dudley vs Honda isn’t that bad. You can punish any headbutt with ultra 1 on block. Also, Dee Jay having less bad matchups than Akuma? Really?

im gonna host a game night within the next week or two. im not sure when exactly ill post up when i figure it out for sure. and for the new guys i live about 15 mins south of the arcade. if we hang out upstairs i could get about 5 setups or so depending on how much equipment ppl bring
I actually wanted to have a game night sometime next week or later since I have my own place. It’s pretty empty and we.don’t have a lot of chairs but there’s space for about 4 setups.
I hope ya’ll plan this game night on a weekend. I’m back on the school, work, and gym grind so my weekdays are pretty much shot.
