Yeah, its hard for me to play anyone without a decent uf+4. Drago’s high crushes are pretty meh.
Also, despite Yun and Yang’s ultras looking kind of cool, 3s is better.
Depends on how you like to play the game of course. If you like gay low (and questionably mid) crush jump kicks…well…yeah…pick those people

Who are some T6 characters that no one around here plays. I want to be different!!!
Well Phil plays everybody so don’t feel discouraged. But there are plenty of characters that don’t see much action and aren’t well represented around here. I’ll put a comprehensive list of who plays what for you:
Sluch- Alisa, Christie, Asuka, Lili
Phil- Mokujin (everybody), usually during tourney time you’ll see him use King/AK/Bruce.
Brandon- Bob, Bruce, Lars
Skeez- Marduk, Kuma, Lars, Paul
Dave- AK, Roger Jr., Miguel
Kris- Steve (I don’t think I’ve ever seen him use anyone else)
Derrick- Julia, Paul
Kam- Wang, Jin, Devil Jin, Lei

Me- Armor King, working on Drago/King but they aren’t there yet, Bryan’s dead to me.

I hear Amanda is learning Bruce too. Just pick who feels right to you, and be aware of their playstyle and what that entails. There’s a lot of good information if you dig on TZ and SDtekken that covers move lists and properties/frames.

I play nina and so does derrick and sluch. Kam also play X a bit.
I was thinking about picking either between roger, heihachi, jack 6 ( since I started learning him and was doing decent), Lars ( again). Not to mention actually trying to finish nina and her butterfly flap combos.
I’m also curious though, what are everyone’s projected teams/characters for MvC3 so far?
Me? I dont really have a team persay but I have characters I know I want to plan around.
BTW also whats the deal with seasons? has anyone scored a hotel or anything?
Also, is anyone planning on entering any of the team(s) stuffs at SB5?

I’ll be staying with my bro at OSU for Season’s this year. I’d be down for teams stuff though. I forget offhand, but they’ll be doing registration for teams at the venue, right? I’d be down for SSFIV teams, BB:CS teams, and TvC teams (I actually saw Kurasa suggest this, so who knows, it may really happen).
Dormammu/Trish/Dr. Doom and I’m going to learn Super Skrull as well. Obviously, I am a fan of control characters.

for marvel 3 im just gonna use v joe tron and doom right off the bat. i use v joe in tvc and tron and doom in mvc2 so there will be a low learning curve for me

I guess I used to play Wang, but with Kam using him, and Keith about to I’ll move on to Leo, Heihachi, and someone else nobody’s working on. I hate mirrors, and if I continued to use Wang people would make me learn him through mirrors. I don’t want to do that.

Marvel mess…
Some combination of Spidey, Doom, Cap, IM, Thor, Ammy, Hulk, Super Skrull, X-23 and Silver Surfer. Figure out what works best and go from there.
I’d have to play the game first to see how these characters feel, but I do like the way Wesker looks. Most of the Marvel side seems appealing to me, except for maybe Dormamu and The Hulk.

Playing someone, just to be different, really doesnt apply to tekken. People have different play styles. I know that Chase plays like 90% of the same characters that I do, but we play completely differently. Doesnt bother me in the slightest. In fact, it helps because you can see moves or stratagies that you can pick up from people playing them that you may never have thought of.
not making a team, but characters that hold my interest,
Dante, Dormammu, Thor, Tron Bonne and will probably dabble in the other cheese characters just to learn how to break it.
MVC3 doesn’t seem to have as much cheese as previous titles, minus X-factor with some characters.
