Cincinnati OH, Dayton OH, and Northern Kentucky: I have the best Wesker!

TTT2 is awesome. I’m glad I got into Tekken.

also, everyone that played breakers tonight at the arcade is awesome. that game is incredibly fun and easy to get into; everyone that hasn’t played it should try it, and everyone who has played it needs to play it more.

Word to your mother

I think I’m off this Thursday, I’ll have to doublecheck my schedule. If I am, then hopefully I’ll be able to see some of your lovely faces this week at AL.

so does anyone know if/where i can get a cheap copy of t6. i liked tekken tag back in the day and who knows i might tekken tag 2. but id rather know a lil bit about the engine and know a few combos with some people first. gamestop has it for 360 for 20 new and 18 used. i could do that but if anyone knows anywhere cheaper let me know. i dont mind if its used or not just as long as the disc isnt fucked up.

i kinda already know who i wanna use but first i need to see how good they are and if anyone local plays them. with a roster that big i need to have my original character. yes its that important.

Jesse has a copy of Xbox T6 for sale… I think he is charging $17 for it last time I checked.

You should check with him before you shell out to any other place. Local support

Also You know I’ll be down to help you out with any character you pick up.

pP

ok well then jesse if you still have that copy of t6 in the next two weeks im prob gonna buy it.

and phil i figured id be gettin most of my lessons from you considering we both have xbl and you live close to me and neither one of us have jobs so ya im down for some tekken lessons almost anytime you are

I do still have it. Brand New. $16 for you. I’ll just hold it for you unless you decide against it

hell ya jesse im gonna get it prob not this week but next thurs maybe my moneys this week are goin towards the ranbats on sat

keith- wang? if that’s who you’re talking about, kam plays him.

ya i know kam plays wang but thats not gonna stop.me from playin him but ill need other characters for tag so im gonna start lookin for alts im intersted in feng ganyru and the one with the drunken boxing stance…law i think i dunno i cant tell those asian apart o ya and yoshi maybe

Feng, Ganryu and Lei (lol drunken kung-fu guy) are all good valid characters.

I’ll definately help out… I hate training online but maybe since we are close (geometry wise) it wouldn’t be as laggy.

Jesse is the man! Had a great time this weekend at the Arcade. ailerus, we definitely gotta get down on dat breakers and magdrop

BlazBlue?

I finally checked TZ, and saw a post about Bryan from ActionHank. I’m too lazy to log on there, and it’s a little old, so… Um, yeah…

For Bryan’s TauntJU, the timing is like TauntB4, but you have to input F before you can do b2.

If you didn’t give up on him yet, check this video out.

Oh, and When did TRKT start playing with Wang? (No homo)

Damn, I need money to go to these tourneys…

Yeah, believe me I’ve attempted it quite a few times, but AK has just been a better character choice for me so I dropped Bryan. Still learning a few others to see if I can add any characters to my arsenal.

ya phil i figured online for the nights when i got the kids and shit but i dont got shit goin on the next few days so give me a call if you wanna hang out. we can trade ngbc knowledge for t6 knowledge

@ Noize - A couple of months ago. The “Wang-is-homo” jokes haven’t stopped since then. lol.

@ Keith - I encourage Wang. Not only because I play him, but I really think he is that good a character. He’s got insane juggle damage, wall juice, pokes, crouch dash mixups, crouch mixups, low game, whiff punishes, delaaaaaaaaaays, and solid crush properties. Plus…he’ short. I believe that’s an advantage for him.

His weakness is a solid launch game. Also his CH (Counter Hit) game and his WS (While Standing) game is subpar compared to most of the cast. He doesn’t have much to offer to punish lows, except parrying them. His jumps have terrible hitboxes, so it is very difficult to crush lows or catch your opponent off guard. His best WS punish is WS 4 because it is 11f and it’s +5 on hit. Other than that, he’s pretty much has knockdown WS moves that will punish risky launcher lows (like Bryan’s d/f+3) and give you a wall splat if you are near the wall. d+4,1 is a great NCC (Natural Combo on Counter) with NASTY crush properties AND it launches AND it gives a free full juggle AND it’s questionably safe (It’s -14 on block, but because he is short, it is difficult for most characters to punish it). CH Standing 4 has short range but it is still worth throwing out and CH SS+4 is difficult to combo from.

@Actionhank, I figured it was too late for you to want to keep using him, but I thought I could try, lol. Who else are you interested in? Are you still trying out Dragunov?

Nah, I actually meant that as a serious question, but given the fact that it just sounds wrong, I figured I had to add it, lol. Oh, and who gives a fuck if he doesn’t have a solid launch game? He doesn’t even need juggles, well… Not really.

Yeah Dragonuv and King now.

I agree. No character in Tekken needs to depends on “proper” launchers to win them the match.

However, that doesn’t mean that a weak launch game isn’t notable. It’s a respectable weakness…one that balances the character. I’m comparing his weaknesses in a traditional sense though. To have a combo starter that speaks volumes is a well-known Tekken fundamental.
