welcome to the boards!
for introductons you should use the fellowship thread, that is also where we do our general chat and off topic stuff.
we also have a q&a thread where you can post any general question.
but before you ask any questions, try to make sure that you atleast read a good amount of the matchup thread as well as the chun-li compendium.
pls enjoy your stay here!
chun is an awesome character that requires alot of work, and that is what these forums are here for.

c.hp is officially the most infinite move in the game

holy shiii
that actually works??!!
thanks for posting it here
oh my
It’s tool assisted, try to keep calm guys, however, I’m going to experiment with c.hp x mp kikouken, cl.hk and st.hp x hp kikouken, c.hk
Chun’s amazing =].
i’ll be waiting for skatan’s insight on this matter.
(but i’ll try it out in training if its hard to link like her bird infinite)
you have a lot of time to link it
that first cl.hp to hp kikou hits around 12 or 13 frames meaty giving you a ton of time to link the 7 frame c.hp, the closer you get the tighter the timing,
this is what it looks like frame by frame at the closest range
http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/4731/chuninf.png
as you can see it hits around 6-7 frames meaty so you should have a few spare frames to hit with the 4 frame cl.hp
it is amazing. I didnt know it worked.
a vid coming up soon
thank you :D!!

here is the video
Nice find error1, but the problem isn’t linking the normals, it’s having enough charge to keep the loop going.
With that said, I’ve managed to do j.hk, st.hp x hp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken so far.
If you want a neutral start then st.hp x ex kikouken, c.hp gives you more time to get charge for c.hp x mp kikouken.
I want to atleast be able to do j.hk, st.hp x hp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken, c.mk x ex legs or something
edit:Tried it on Sagat since I already knew a crouch specific combo against him (j.hk, c.lp, c.lp, c.lp c.lp x ex kikouken, c.hk)
And I found that this works on him j.hk, st.hp x ex kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken, c.mk x ex legs 431dmg/705stun
Skatan’s vs. Sagat (j.hk, c.lp, c.lp, c.lp c.lp x ex kikouken, c.hk)
this actually looks very nice
alright tried it with everyone, it looks like it works on a lot of crouching char in the corner to some extent
just tried the script to see how many reps I got so you can probably end with a c.mk x ex legs
vs
rose
the whole thing about as easy as chun
rufas
the whole thing but with very strict timing
balrog, dan
cl.hp x hp kikouken, c.hp x hp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken
sagat, fei long, and guile
cl.hp x hp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken
seth, abel, sakura
st.hp x hp kikouken, c.hp x mp kikouken,
the whole thing might work on some of these characters like Balrog and Dan if you get the spacing perfect
edit got the whole thing to work on dan
Great stuff! I’m loving it.
I re uploaded my video with a combo that works against any crouched character 452 damage/ 750 stun

here are some examples of other characters it works with

just i vid i made on chuns infinite and other combos her infinite can be started after any hazanshu with jab canceled into light SBK, check it but i think for super i getting a stick some of these methods i have to use on 360 controller to get ex legs of Crf into RH legs is ridiculous
Hey guys, I’m just wondering if: – FA Crumple Stun -> Forward Dash -> LK Lightning Legs -> C.LP -> C.MK -> EX Legs is Chun’s optimal focus punish with metre? I usually just go for CS RH -> EX Legs but if this does significantly more I might try to get this combo down. Also, is it possible to combo into that without crumple from, say, a CS RH? Or do other variants of legs combo into cr. jab/short?
One more question, does anyone here ever use her MK/Cr FP -> MK Bird? I see it used from time to time in various matches but I can’t remember the last time I saw a top Chun use it, guessing the follow-up is always unsafe.
Thanks.
crumple > lk legs > cr mk xx ex legs = 260 dmg
crumple > cs hk xx ex legs = 265 damage
crumple > lk hsu > cr. lk xx ex legs = 271 dmg
crumple > cs hk xx hk legs > cr. lk xx ex legs = 297 dmg
the first one builds more meter than the second though. i think the last builds more meter than any of them and does the most damage. legs all do the same amount of damage regardless of strength, but do more stun the stronger the kick button.
lk legs is + 6 on hit… so you can combo lp, lk, ex legs, cr. mk, and st. hp.
mk legs is + 4 on hit… so you can combo lp, lk, and ex legs.
hk legs is + 3 on hit… so you can combo lp or cr. lk.
hk is nice because chun gets a small push forward so you have a better chance of connecting all hits and being close enough to land jab or cr. lk. if you add 3 more inputs of mk, you’ll extend legs and end up with +7 adv if you get the last hit in. that lets you combo into sweep, st. mp, and cr. hp…
I think a lot of Chuns who can do the cr. hp xx extended legs combo would do that instead of the mk sbk combo since the sweep knockdown is much better than a +2 reset… it’s also a lot safer on block than just cr. hp alone. (extended legs should be +3 on block which is really good since you can tack on a jab or short and it’ll be uppercut safe).
Thanks for the numbers man, I only posted because linking jab after lk is hell for me (no plinking). I think there’s a guy that lives around here that does that last combo as his b&b punish (hk, hk legs, lk, ex legs), but I didn’t see it in the main post so I thought maybe I was just imagining it. I’m going to try and get that down consistently… I feel like Chun really needs to make the most of her punish situations, even if it means getting an extra ten damage or whatever.
Btw doesn’t RH->MK Legs only work on big characters? Either way I try and do the sweep combo as often as possible, even though I usually just end up whiffing it… today I ate a SPD when I was playing a Gief online.
