lol no wonder it just the hasanshu combo link video, i thought he was talking about her super in general hehe. my bad there, now it make sense to me cause i sure was like well was going what? are u serious there’s scaling on most of the super link i do. note to self to not misquote ppl. on the side note, most of the links ppl are generally going to use is st. jab into super (variation of how many jabs u link). landing counter hit hk xx hansanshu xx super would probably be quite dmging.
ok edit ,hk xx hansanshu xx super does roughly 440-450 dmg if i remember right and hk xx mk hansanshu - st. jab - st. fierce xx super inflicts about 520-539 (does way more dmg than ultra lol) dmg.
Just a thought on the HS -> cr.LK -> EX LL links (especially the non mk HS versions). Sorry if I missed a similar post before, but I hope this could be helpful to some.
I used to somewhat mash the ex legs out after the single cr.LK. This sometimes made me mess up my timing on HS -> cr.LK as I would be in a hurry to get EX LL. Because of this, I used to always do HS -> cr.lk -> cr.lk -> EX LL on characters where it is possible, so the extra c.lk would give me a “buffer” and avoid mashing. Still, I’d prefer to be very consistent on one combo that works for all characters.
Last night, I was experimenting on the cleanest way to do HK -> cr.LK -> EX LL and I came up with this:
After HS, I hold down on the stick and piano LK~MK~HK~(HK~LK+MK) …where the hk~lk+mk in parenthesis is done almost simultaneously like a one would do a kara throw. That way, it seems like drumming once to the right and pressing all three.
This helped me a lot since I wouldn’t worry about the mashing anymore and just focus on doing the piano motion (which starts with cr.lk) when i would normally do the cr.lk link. I was quite happy with how consistent this method was.
Anyway, a simple post. But I’d be happy to hear any inputs on how other people do this as well. Now if I can just get consistent at cr.hp (1) to LL …
sometimes Ive seen cr.lp x2 link cr.HK but I cant do it, is it only con CH?? shouldnt the CH affect only the first hit? (you know, the one that actually countered something?)
^Second cr. lp hits meaty (on its 2nd active frame), giving you +7 on hit, allowing you to link into a move that comes out in 7 frames (e.g. st. mp, cr. hk or ultra).
Edit: Apparently cr. lp has 3 active frames so it is very possible that it can hit on the 3rd active frame during a string, giving you +8 on hit and making it even easier to link into the moves mentioned above.
Spacing is a key factor to getting these situations to occur.
i can explain cause i do this sometimes in training mode-
cl. st. hk> hk legs is simple(piano legs starting with a hk input), but you have to Plink to cr.hp after the end of the HK legs and while doing so piano the legs immediatly afterwards, its basically doing the whole cr.fierce LL sweep combo except your Plinking the cr.hp after the legs. This combo was also discussed on what chuns best meterless combo is =) its basically doing this-

while double tapping or Plinking after the HK legs im emphasizing on that Plink because its difficult to land but once you got it its money lol
Ah that video explained it, although it doesn’t seem likely I’ll land than in a match. Is there a method to doing it without a glove? I couldn’t get the piano out fast enough.
