Chun-Li Combos and Glitches

can you juggle people with super after being hit in a juggle state with j.fpx2 in the air like ultra? i havent tried…Also i would like to add that j.fpx2(or.j.hk), s.mp-> super does more dmg then with the added kikoken i know tht for sure because of scaling and of experience in training so add tht to the list up there^

uhm im pretty sure i dont have my ps3 in front of me ATM(school) but i vaguely remember in training that if you just do the j.fpx2, s mp-> super it should do just a bit more dmg. without a kikoken…if im wrong then disregard this but i feel like im right cuz i experiment with j.fp s.mp kikoken fadc’s/combos for my own knowledge and execution practice

j.fpx2 st.mp(2hits) HPkikouken super is 427

j.rh - cl.rh - fp kikoken - super = 494 damage

I’m a fan of cr. mk xx hk legs > super when I get it as anti-air. If it gives you a massive health lead, it’s worth it imo. You’ve basically won if you landed it if your defense is good. Just zone and turtle the rest of the round for some extra bar if there’s another round to go.

hmmm… i dont really use her cr.k as an AA unless its versus bison or viper in the obvious situations… which characters do you use it on? which important jumpins does it beat?

However, loose combos like Hasan --> Super and Chun’s lp to fp BnB sequence followed by FP -> Super are both sexy.

i love super! least chun li’s super is quite awesome to reversing some ppl who pressure u like nuts. since we like doing meterless combo we have super at our disposal quite a bit

i thought there is no dmg scaling for super. thats what i heard one handed terror say in his video. :xeye: he said the game register the combo as a single hits compare to an ultra.

Beats Ryu’s jumpins if he’s not jumping in with fierce or short, you get enough charge using it as an anti-crossup. Works well on Guile and Abel, too.

Is there a compilation list for the close HK, HK LLs & cr. HP, HK LLs combos against the whole cast?

Also, I didnt find anything regarding post cr. HP, HK LLs on block. It gives a lot of + frames, so I was wondering, could you like special mix ups afterwards or do a endless pressure string against characters who dont have DPs, etc. with that combo? I saw some SF4 Dic player vid who did “Psycho Magic” (ST term), SF3:CE Dic corner pressure lookalike w/ scissors, couple shorts, repeat. Not sure if this is legit.

Elaborating on the question above, I’ve pretty much got cr.fp xx hk legs > mk legs down to 100 % execution, but I have trouble with continuing the combo. It seems character-specific somehow. Like I can’t get c.lk,c.lk, ex legs out afterwards against for example Gouken (the second lk whiffs), but it works fine against Ryu. I also have issues getting a sweep out against Gouken in particular. Does the opponent matter for this combo, or am I just doing it wrong? Reading the frame data it looks like sweeping should be impossible always, but it definitely works against Ryu.

I am pretty sure that’s not quite what he said, otherwise Dime would not be calling the combos worthless. O_o

I will listen to it again when I have a moment unless OHT comes here personally to clarify.

Not scaled on hasan-shu to super because it’s only one hit before the super, noobs :stuck_out_tongue:

Do I have it transcribed correctly?

LV 2 focus dash > st.rh > RH legs > c.jab > st.fierce > super

I’m missing the c.jab after legs and its got me wondering which legs you use in that combo.

^It should link after HK legs no problem. I usually use st. jab in that combo instead though. I sacrifice the 20 pts of damage for the extra range.

(and it’s a super at the end after st fierce).

Anyway, Kevin Micheal did st. MP xx super on Jibbs. I said I’m stealing that shit. Of course I knew about it already… but I said I’m stealing that shit anyway.

It’s my favorite poke, yet I hardly ever use it to hit confirm. I get counter hit st. mp x 2 a lot (2 hits) without realizing I could’ve tacked on a super for the extra damage. Right now I’m on some mp Kikouken BS after that. That doesn’t even combo and god forbid they were able to jump over it. :bluu:

It’s better than my normal hit confirm (cr. lk, cr. lp, cr. mk xx super) too, so I need to get into the habit of using it more.

Damage is less than 500… more of a “showy, retarded” type of combo, but fun nonetheless.
