Chicks love combo's: The Iron Man Combo Thread

Yea, a lot of people continue to think their coming up with different variations but there isn’t really anything new developing yet. On youtube you can check out TenKaiGears videos with IM resets and combos. Alot of people want to learn the relaunch or “other” combo when most of the variations people are posting right now are all on youtube. I am only seeing the :d::h::s: into c. M and launch, it’s nothing new but the forum gets flooded combos and variations . . . Nag needs to update that first post!!

It’s just hard for me to get that fly cancel off, always getting s. Ironman combos are pretty difficult compared to most of the cast. Time for some training room action.

give me a link showing a combo like mine cuz those other links you gave werent like mine. All because it has flight doesnt mean its the same but all this isnt even the point i put this on here cuz i didnt see it on youtube and people were having trouble with the other combo and wanted to show an alternative way i came up with.
and i think the relaunch combos would be way better in the corner.

Wow, didn’t realize that this thread became a contest of combos, no need to get upset posting combos that are synonomous to the ones you did. All I am saying is, that the combos people continue to post are variations from those that are on youtube. And Nag should update the first post so everyone can see the combos there, that way when new combos come into developed deeper in the thread, better development can happen with Ironman.

This whole IM thread is mis-informative , making it easy for me to troll

Nonetheless It’s obviously a contest of combos because IM still doesn’t have the " Go to bread and butter" , just an array of inconsistent idea’s , but unlike krispy’s combo it puts all other ground-to-fly-4Fierce’s to shame so it doesn’t matter if the combos were posted before… We’re coming up with TRUE, CONSISTENT ,VERSIONS that you can ACTUALLY use , and thats OBVIOUSLY important.

If making this thread into contest of combos is what you want to think of it as then so be it.If you didn’t already know this, competition in groups leads to better ideas and more options. because if any individual posts a better combo, everyone critques, everyone can look for mistakes,or improvments, and in the end everyone benefits.

I was not the one calling somebody out to post better combos, and the thread is meant to share combos not put another persons idea to shame.

Didn’t you make a thread about true relaunch and get trolled for ambiguous self-consciousness remarks trying to rule out another persons relaunch? I don’t know where this true talk came in about combos or relaunch, truth is everyone will use IM differently and use their own variations, trolling another persons effort does not prove anything.

Harder version of Krispy relaunch (works on everyone, but is very hard):

if level 3 super=> dash, call assist, dash, otg bombs xx Proton cannon :wtf:

how much damage does this do?
this could be a better combo if you know you going to the corner cuz after overall the combo doesnt do a great deal of hit stun decay.
ive been trying to figure out a way i could get more fierces after the combo but im coming up with nothing… adding more :m: and :h: inside the combo could be they way to go.

also i just thought of this while posting, maybe its possible to :h:,:up::h:, double jump up foward, :m:,:m:,:h:,:down: :h: into launch or :m:,:m:,:h:,:s: but this would most likely be character specific

Nah man, it’s way too hard to be practical. Just for fun.

The Krispykreme combo is still pretty hard, but not the point that I would give up (like the potential bnb and autopilot ones.)

Also in case anybody was wondering, HP Smart Bombs ends up dealing 5k more damage than LP Smart Bombs.

I managed to get 622, 700 damage in one combo for the low and affordable cost of no meters for those who can’t do the krispy combo (me) but I think someone already has a less execution intensive option for either the same or more damage. The execution necessary is less than the Krispy combo but more than I would like. I’ll post it tomorrow though cuz I have school and it’s past my bedtime :sweat:

and yeah i agree it kinda of difficult to get ths down… i was actually trying to see if i could use the 4H in a row variation on everyone but if your not a big character type the timing is different for the fierces. The original combo seems to hit everyone just fine though just a bit more strict.

One thing to note that most people probably know - unless your combo is already absolutely fully scaled BEFORE the hyper you want to do light smart bomb instead of heavy - did you compare the damages in this combo by any chance?

Ive also been thinking about this and from what im seeing i H smart bombs does do more since the combo leads you into the corner after the bombs hit the physical hit of the cannon hits you then the beam.

and even if you hit midscreen hit stun and scaling dont seem so bad at the end of the combo. even midscreen you can do the full combo and hit M or H smart bombs which i think might be easier to link since you get more time to activate proton canon

Yeah, I actually mentioned it at the bottom of my last post.

I got 5k more damage using Heavy Smart Bombs as opposed to Light Smart Bombs.

You’re going to want to dash up if you’re midscreen, otherwise the first hit of Proton Cannon (where the gun comes out and hits them) won’t connect, and the damage is considerably lowered.

That’s not quite accurate. H smartbombs will always get you more damage, it’s just that later on in the combo you’ll need to connect the initial knockdown hit of Proton Cannon otherwise they will flip out. L bombs let you cancel them earlier so Proton Cannon will already be out by the time they OTG.
