Does anyone have any good combos to do off of a j.H connecting against an airborne opponent? I land those a lot and would like to convert into big damage. One that I found that seems to work anywhere on the screen is:
j.H xx flight, j.L, j.M, j.H, j.dH, j.S, land, c.M, s.H xx Proton Cannon (roughly 575k damage)
I believe you have to be close enough with the first j.H where it looks like IMâs hands are touching the opponent, so air dash forward is a good way to start it.
The notations for krispy combo 2 look like:
Tri jump B,CrB,St C,fly,A,B,C,d.C,dj.B,C,d.C,land crB,S,j.B,j.B,j.C,j.dC,dj.B,j.C,j.S, smartbomb,super
The best part of this combo is that you cancel s.H into fly. Since his launcher (and the s.H for that matter) is crap and Iâm slow at hit confirmming this is a huge plus. Flight also reduces the effect of pushblock and if they donât youâre in a spot to do a insta overhead, Magneto style.
Good stuff, Iâm going to try this out. Seems leagues better than his âpotential BnB.â
For iron-man air hit confirms, getting them close to the ground with d.H and j.S for a s.M > s.S relaunch seems really consistent.
Examples:
- flight j.H cancel j.H, dj j.MHd.HS, s.M, s.S > air combo.
Pre-emptive j.L x2, j.MH, dj.MHdHS > s.M etc
J.dH forces the opponent down closer to the ground, same with j.S, the two in tandem can bring enemies down from very high heights for a relaunch.
If you are too high up try to get the enemy close and slightly above you and combo into h smart bombs and force them to block a uni-beam after the reset, as the guide mentions.
You have to constantly check the opponents height above ground and compared to your own to find the best option. Sometimes you have to do a s.L after the j.S to relaunch.
Might be a better way of doing it but this seems legit

Sling69 got it almost right but i wanted to show you could start this combo from a light attack so you can actually hit confirm this.
you dont have to start at cr :lp:, if you start wth cr. or St. :h: the damage only gets higher(might break 800k if you get into the corner with Proton ender, I havent checked).
Also on bigger characters you dont have to double jump into air ;m:, you can double jump into air ;h:,:d: :h:. but overall i think air hitbox is great and its fast.
Also i havent checked if i could get more damage in the air yet, but the hit stun isnt affected as much as thought it would be.

Wow. Krispy combo is OP. How much meter does that give you?
i just checked and it gives you about 1 and 3/4 of a bar approx. after the smart bombs hit, so it could vary depending on the strength of the smart bombs and if you land in the corner.
I think I speak for everyone when I say f**k the âpotential BnB.â The Krispy combo is easier, more damaging, more reliable and builds more meter. I was even able to add a few hits to increase the damage a bit. Adding an assist at the OTG part lets you break 800k for 1 bar.

the assist extention totally slipped my mind lol, im still trying stuff out with regular combo.
After doing that clip yesterday i think you can do the same 4H combo on everyone its just about timing that last down :h:⌠not sure though i did it on ame,viper and spiderman in training mode.
Look at the dates, this combo posted is about a month old, I donât understand why the ironman forum keeps getting combos that a majority of IM players understand, this is the combo Kreme did, posted in Feb.

I just wanted to give an easier version of the krispy combo, because I find it very hard to hit the d. H, unfly, H, dj. M part of it.
If you want to do more damage and have a safer blockstring then try cr. M, s. H, fly, L, M, H, u. H, S, c. M, s. H, S into standard air combo for 707k. Of course you can do this off a trijump as well. Iâm sure you can get more with an assist.
- another thing I wanted to mention. If the opponent blocks your trijump and you go into c. l, c. M, s. H like I do. Of course you can do a repulsor blast, but that is still risky. Iâm thinking of cancelling the s. H into fly, which allows you to keep up the pressure by doing a fly M into fly d. H. If they are still blocking low, then this will hit them. You just need to condition yourself to do fly into L if the s. H hits, or fly into M if they block it.
Typing in MVC3 Ironman combo on youtube is soooo easssy!! a caveman can do it.

i seen that flight combo vid but those vids are almost exactly like the mission mode combo we all know you can l,m,h,s.
the problem with that combo it wont land consistent on a variety of characters.
plus this isnt the same combo i cancel unfly from air H into another air H and im not touching the ground its a double jump.
I didnt see anyone doing this,they too busy trying to learn that âotherâ combo.
All i know is this way is more consistent and leads to good damage.
ajil if you look at my krispy combo 4h vid youâll see me do my H unfly H nuetral for both and go for the double jump H,Down+H and i think this will work on all characters if you time the last H right.
