@_@ God I need to learn to wake up around 12. I was down with the south side location i just didn’t know i was being pressure to respond to something (Seeing i did a few pages back) but seeing that its over that dream was short lived. But there is a absence of SouthSiders here on the forums besides RageQuit and I (maybe a couple of friends), i’m not to sure if there are anymore. Luckly i got no problem with going to the north to play but sadly im broke today.
Edit: I looked at the distance for both places and Time wise from my place The southside spot and Ignite are the exact same time away. So

Oh and I talked with doc last week, just shooting the shit, he was totally open to the idea, he said he would even give some sort of reduced priced for the weekly gatherings if we wanted to use his place. Just saw tactics was posting about gga a few pages ago.

IGNITE NETWORK UPDATE - CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT - PENDING NEXT WEEKS EVENT:
So what happened was, I thought we were good to go, but the manager on staff called in sick for the rest of the week. I didn’t find this out until 2 hours ago, and then I also followed up with the current manager on staff, and there is nobody to oversee the event tonight. They said they weren’t comfortable with not having a manager on duty when we have a large group coming in.
If we came in as regular patrons, we wouldn’t be able to use our own consoles, and we can’t plug in arcade sticks. Also the current manager wasn’t aware of the pricing agreement that I had discussed last weekend. So pending next monday, but I still need to sort things out since my point of contact is out for the rest of the week.
Sorry for the short notice, but this was just as short notice on me as well.
I mean, we can’t really predict when people get sick and all.
It was a very short amount of time to put things together (since I talked with them last Friday), so maybe we can keep discussion open now to plan for the following Monday, or else the one after that (due to the fact he is out until the end of this week).
I’m sad there won’t be any Southside gatherings, thought I finally had the chance to meet with people and get better. Oh well guess it’ll have to be GGA until something gets started around here.
Well that sucks. I’ve been thinking about having some people over to my place but I’m a bit hesitant since I don’t want to have to worry about randoms or people jacking shit from my place. I have Jose/Tranceaddict and Repent13 over all the time, Aki and bombchivo have also been by. Maybe I can figure something out in the future.
yeah i am really sorry this happened, but its just a minor bump, as bumps are bound to happen.
That sucks about Ignite. I was just about to write how I was planning to be there, though without a system this time.
I do think, though, that while Ignite may be the best destination for a weekly Northside event, the fact that they can only accomodate us on Mondays may limit the number of people that attend in the long run.
I’d like to be involved in the organization and operation of the event. Just let me know what needs to be done.
